Beautiful stay at Villa Magnolia

Great location, very comfortable and spacious. Lovely apartment in the heart of Cavtat, in close walking distance to shops, restaurants and swimming. We really enjoyed our time here

Very minimal kitchen supplies. Just salt, pepper, cooking oil. Bedrooms do not have individual air conditioning. The living space air conditioners did cool down the bedrooms somewhat.

A lovely stay. Take the steps up by the church

We were happily greeted upon check in. Three story house. Older folks in our group slept on 2nd floor and younger on 3rd floor. Took the steps up from the Promenade at the church. Lots of steps there but easier than the other routes which have even more steps. Our older folks enjoyed the terrace and did not venture out. If you like to hike steps, like the others in our group, this is a lovely location to do such and explore.

Great Old Town location and a large apartment

Great location in Old Town just up the steps from the waterfront. We were met on arrival with keys and information. We were traveling as a family of four – parents and two adult children – and were thrilled with the size and comfort of this apartment. Plenty of beds for our family, a big kitchen, living room, and three bathrooms (a major bonus!) Especially cute is the outside terrace area for sitting in the evening. The apartment was clean and the host is communicative and helpful. She let us leave our luggage for a bit after check-out, which was really appreciated.

The location of the house is very central, rooms and beds are comfy. Living room furniture is a bit vintage but also extremely comfortable. Lovely little patio.

Traditional home in Cavtat harbour with views onto the bay. Three storeys with 2 double rooms with a shared bathroom on the top floor. The 2nd floor has a double room and a single room with another shared bathroom, with an amazing shower. The ground floor has double doors onto the terrace area, with a single door opening onto the same area from the kitchen. There is ample comfortable seating and a large flat screen smart tv which you can use to login to nexflix, youtube, spotify etc. There is also a downstairs toilet. The kitchen had everything needed to make all your own meals, should you wish to do that. There was no aircon in the bedrooms, but the a/c unit on the top floor and the a/c unit on the ground floor do a great job. No need for a/c in the bedrooms to be fair. Ivona was so helpful, and very quick to respond to any of our queries. If you don't know Cavtat, and if you want to stay this close to the centre, and in a traditional home, there are going to be steps. Nothing can change that except to stay in one of the hotels on the flat. Be prepared that after a flight and transfer, you will be tired, and wish there were no steps. However, once settled, and for the rest of the week these steps were no issue. There are a few ways to get to the villa, one is from the church side with more spread out steps, others are more steep steps from the waterfront by the restaurants. None of us - all under 50 had any problem with the steps at all. It was great to sit out the front for the morning coffee or evening beer. There was space for 5 to sit around the table and it was sufficient indeed for the party of 5 adults and 2 kids.

Nothing that we didn't like at all. A real traditional stay in a very clean and well stocked property. You won't regret booking here.

There is a steep climb to the villa. Thus is not suitable if you have breathing or mobility problems. Its a shame because it's a lovely villa

We had a wonderful time and the house was very comfortable.

This home is amazing. The location is ideal- gorgeous walk into town, quiet setting, lots of room so we all had our own space (3 floors high). Really a lovely place. Cavtat is one of my favorite memories of our trip. Peaceful compared to Dubrovnik and other busy cities.

Koselig sted med privat hage i gamlebyen.

Kort avstand til mange strender. Fint å ha en egen innelukket hage. Store soverom med gode senger. Vertskapet fulgte godt opp når vi hadde spørsmål.

Vi hadde ønsket et bedre bad i øverste etasje. Og gjerne en thermokanne til kaffe.

Heel huis in het oude gedeelte van Cavtat

De accommodatie bestond uit een heel huis, gelegen in het oude gedeelte van Cavtat. Er waren 4 ruime slaapkamers en 2 goede badkamers. De bedden waren goed. Ook was er veel kastruimte. In de keuken alle noodzakelijke apparatuur, servies, etc. De ramen waren voorzien van horren. Op de bovenste etage een mooi uitzicht over de baai. Er was een kleine en goed onderhouden binnentuin met voldoende schaduw voor als het warm is. Het huis ligt op korte afstand van het boulevardje met restaurants.

Wij hadden niet begrepen dat er zoveel trappen waren naar het huis. Met zware koffers is dat echt een uitdaging. De woonkamer en keuken zijn compleet ingericht, maar niet erg gezellig. Vooral de verlichting in de keuken kan veel beter. In de tuin staat een klein tafeltje voor 4 personen. Als je met 7 personen zou zijn (het aantal bedden), kun je dus niet met het hele gezelschap buiten aan tafel eten. De oude stad ligt recht onder de aanvliegroute naar Dubrovnik airport. Gelukkig valt het aantal vluchten mee en wordt er ‘s nachts niet gevlogen, maar het geeft wel veel kabaal.
