Apartments Anuška

The location is ideal for visiting not just Old Town Dubrovnik (OTD) but also other cities along the Croatian cost (Split, Dubrovnik, Cavtat) or the nearby cities of Mostar, the water falls (In Bosnia-Herzegovina) and Kotor-Perast (in Montenegro), if you are staying 7 days or more. However, staying fewer days than 7, is also perfect for commuting between OTD and Cavtat every day or going on tour to Mostar-Kotor and the Falls (companies pick you up and drop you off 10 min-walk from the apartments, these are 11-12 hours day trips). Choosing Anuska apartments as a base gives you the flexibility of enjoying busy OTD and coming back to a tranquil atmosphere with plenty to offer in Cavtat. You have multiple restaurants for all budgets (all meals from 7 am to midnight and beyond), including options of sitting by the water in front of the Cavtat harbor (for all meals!, even just coffee, a cocktail or lemonade!). Cavtat has plenty of promenade to walk (two peninsulas with paths along the water shaded by trees, ~30 min walk each) and enjoy a dip in the sea (can rent sunbeds and umbrellas and not crowded at all, crystal clear water with stair or trail access). There are several beaches further north in the Cavtat area too, that you can walk too. The grocery store is 5 min walk from the apartments almost in front of the bus stop (route 10 to OTD). The same bus can also be boarded in the Cavtat bus station walking another 5 min from this bus stop. There is a nice restaurant (called By the Way) also by the bus stop where you can grab breakfast as early as 7 am and take the bus to OTD right there on the bus stop. Or you can get groceries at the Studenac market (produce, and everything else) by the apartment. The bus route 10 (June 2026) is 4 euros per person (~30 min to OTD) overlooking the breathtaking views of the coastline all the way to OTD. You can also take one of many ferries (~45 min, 15 euros round trip to OTD) at the Cavtat harbor about 15 min walk from the apartment.

There nothing I disliked about the location and the apartment, the uphill walk going back from Cavtat to the apartment for us (my 73-year-old mom and I) was a nice walk. Pretty much everywhere you go in coastal Croatia is going to be uphill or downhill because all towns were built on the hillside of the mountains overseeing the Adriatic. The apartment has a a beautiful balcony overlooking the Cavtat harbor, which you can enjoy after a day of touring. The location is very quiet and peaceful and a 15-min-walk away in Cavtat you have plenty of options for souvenir stores, restaurants, ice cream parlors, bakeries, bars, swimming and sunbathing, all without overwhelming crowds. Bring water shoes when getting in the water because the Adriatic is not sandy, mostly pebbles and rocks, hence the clear waters that allow you to see two stories down. The ferries drop you right there at the OTD port, where you can enjoy views of "Kings Landing", the "Red Keep" and "black water bay" (game of thrones fans know what I am talking about). Bring hats (wet your hat if you can) and plenty of water to keep hydrated because the summer heat of June is taxing.

Die Lage ist sehr gut und ruhig. Sehr sauber. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und bietet einen Transfer zum Flughafen an. Ein Lebensmittelgeschäft ist in fünf Minuten zu erreichen.

The hosts were excellent and friendly, they responded quickly to messages and welcomed us early to the property which enabled us to freshen up and make the most of the rest of the day. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable, close to the town centre but very quiet and peaceful at night. We would definitely stay again.

Из аэропорта добрались сами: в трансфере нам отказали, но поездка на Uber заняла не более 10 минут и обошлась в 12 евро — отличное начало отдыха. Апартаменты в современном доме с хорошим ремонтом. Хозяйка встретила лично, всё показала и объяснила. Постельное бельё поменяли, дополнительно предлагалась уборка (20 евро). Кухня полностью соответствует описанию: есть базовый набор посуды и кухонных принадлежностей. До пляжа около 800–900 метров, по пути — три продуктовых магазина (ближайший в 3 минутах). До центра Цавтата и красивой набережной легко дойти пешком, но обратно придётся подниматься в гору. Отличный бонус, если хотите дополнительную физическую нагрузку 🙂. В Дубровник можно съездить на автобусе за 4 евро прямо в Старый город. Остановка в 2–3 минутах от апартаментов. Цавтат — колоритный город, в бухту постоянно заходят яхты-миллионники. Отдельная «фишка»: самолёты пролетают низко и громко (аэропорт же всего в 5 км). Для туристов это настоящий аттракцион: если вы всегда мечтали научиться отличать Boeing от Embraer по звуку моторов или по «брюху», Цавтат — идеальное место 😅. Отдыхающие постоянно снимают пролёты на видео, поднимают головы к небу. Да, еще один бонус — поющие цикады

Для меня неприятным сюрпризом стало несоответствие описания апартаментов реальности. Я бронировала апартаменты с видом на море — именно это было одним из ключевых запросов. Так была описана категория номера «Апартаменты с 1 спальней, балконом и видом на море» и проиллюстрирована фотографиями. В описании даже не упоминалось слово «горы». В реальности же из моего номера открывался вид на горы, на стройку и лишь частично на море. Узкого балкона с металлической оградой в фотогалерее нет. Госпожа Анушка дважды предлагала найти другие апартаменты и вернуть деньги. Но когда ты планируешь отпуск за три месяца, летишь за тысячи километров и уже заселяешься, такое предложение, мягко говоря, звучит абсурдно. Аттракцион с самолётами легко превращается и в минус: они пролетают низко и громко прямо над домом. Мне это сильно не мешало, но людям, которые ищут абсолютную тишину или приезжают с детьми, стоит учитывать этот момент. Ещё один нюанс — дорога обратно от моря в горку (подъём около 12%). Для кого-то это может быть полезной физической нагрузкой, но тем, кому тяжело даются подъемы или есть проблемы с опорно-двигательной системой, такой рельеф будет явным минусом. Я поставила оценку 7 из 10. Апартаменты современные, комфортные, чистые, хозяйка откликается на просьбы. Но главный запрос — заявленный (читай: оплаченный) вид на море — не совпал с реальностью, и это оставило неприятный осадок. Поэтому моя оценка не ниже и не выше: отдых получился неплохим, но ожидания оказались обмануты.
