Palace Pernarius

The hosts, Harvey and Lily, were amazing; warm, welcoming, exceedingly helpful and just overall nice people. The apartment was perfect, one bedroom with a great bed and small and efficient living area/kitchen. Good air conditioning which was needed all the time as the apartment was in the back of the house and stayed quite cool even when it was too hot outside. Bathroom with washing machine and shower, great water pressure. The house is up fairly steep steps from the port, as are most accommodations in old town, but manageable for me and my bad knees.

Such a lovely, family-feel stay. The hosts genuinely treat you like one of their own. It's tucked away on a picturesque cobbled lane, gorgeous but heads up, there are stairs, so it's worth thinking twice if you're travelling with heavy bags. Lily whipped up homemade tiramisu and Harvey shared beers and stories, proper hospitality. Great location, great value, and the washing machine was such a nice bonus for a longer stay.

The property was spotlessly clean. It couldn’t have been more central. We were only 39 steps and a thirty second walk from where we got the ferry to Dubrovnik old town. The shower was powerful, a very comfy bed and it was lovely and cool after a hot day in the sun. We felt very safe there too. We had a massive fridge and plenty of other equipment to cook with. The Hosts Lily and Harvey are absolutely wonderful.

Beautiful recently renovated historic home, great view from balcony. Hosts very friendly and picked us up from airport. Few meters from town, restaurants and beaches. Amazing stay highly recommend
