Overpriced like everything in Croatia

Vastly overpriced. Maybe the swimming pool. This is common for Croatia in the coastline sadly.

Location , hard to access by car For 145 euros , definitely not worth the price. The quality is not there. Cavtat itself is Ok. This place is 10 min walk to Cavtat restaurants. The whole tourism in Croatia has to be rethought in proposition value.

Good stay just felt misled

Unit is very clean although showing its age. The lady who cleans the building is very kind, especially to kids. Pool is great for end of day relaxing. The building is at the top of a steep walk but it isn't long, about 10 minutes.

Owner is a smoker and lives on the first floor and smokes with the door open to the rest of the building. If you are sensitive to smoke just note that this is about constant all day but of course the smell isn't in the individual units. We thought we booked two bedrooms but it was one bedroom with the other bed in the same room as the little kitchenette: I'm not sure if this is a common set up in a lot of these apartment type rentals where "two bedrooms" doesn't nessarily mean 2 actual bedrooms but would have expected where booking.com would have used north American standards to ensure consistency.

August 2025 holiday

This is the second time we have stayed in these studios. The location is perfect. They are clean and well serviced. The beds are very comfortable. The shower has good pressure. The apartment has everything needed for a holiday. The view from the balcony is truly stunning. The swimming pool is clean with plenty of free sun loungers. The hosts are extremely welcoming, and the lady who cleaned our room was very friendly. I would absolutely stay again and would have no hesitation in recommending these apartments to my friends.

There is nothing we did not like. If we had to recommend something, it would be a full length mirror and maybe a stronger hairdryer. But these things are really not important, as everything else is so wonderful.

We had a lovely holiday and would quite happily come back another time

Very welcoming and friendly host. He organized transport from the airport for us, offered a welcome drink and gave us some tips for our holiday. It was great to be able to cool down in the pool after walking up the hill. The apartment was spotless and the cleaner was lovely. The beds were comfortable, the kitchenette was well equipped and the aircon and fan really helped in the heat.

A nice and clean place to stay.

Very clean, great view of the ocean. It has washing machine and microwave, a plus when we are traveling!

The parking area. Difficult to reach by feet or by car. After a couple of days we get used to it. Parking must be improved, like having a barrier close to the edge. I just gave 9 because of the parking, the rest deserves 10!

Lovely, quiet and clean spot in beautiful, beautiful Cavtat.

It was spotlessly clean, with super comfortable beds. We stayed in a studio at the top of the building, and the views were gorgeous. The pool is great and in the sun pretty much all day. We also appreciated the washing machine and the kettle, cooker and fridge.

Nothing. There is a climb up the hill but it’s fine- just go slowly and you’ll be grand!

A well located, home style apartment

The location - quiet and local area up on a hill overlooking Cavtat, easy walk into town.

The fridge didn’t close properly and the balcony door didn’t close well due to age so had some mosquitoes

A little Cavtat gem 💎

Lovely welcome on arrival, and we appreciated our complimentary cold beer. Pool area was beautiful (which we had to ourselves most days). The pool was very clean and sunbeds very comfortable. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. We loved our balcony, where we enjoyed breakfast and an evening glass of wine. Beds were huge and whole apartment felt very homely. Staff were all lovely and we took up the recommendation of visiting the family run restaurant, Ivans, where food was delicious and great value. The location was excellent with the walk to the seafront bars and restaurants was only around 5 minutes.

It wasn't a problem for us, but as a note for first time visitors the accommodation, like most in Cavtat, is on a steep hill. However taxis are readily available if you don't fancy the walk

Our Croatian Experience I

On arrival at the Villa Voinic we were given a very warm welcome by the owner. We arrived during a storm and were told that if we wanted to go for something to eat they would take us into the town and then pick us up when we were ready. As we had already eaten we didn't take the offer up but were very touched. We booked this Villa on a recommendation from someone who had been before Covid and we were more than satisfied. Situated at the top of a hill gives you an overall view of the beautiful bay of Cavtat. Our room was nicely decorated, very clean and had everything we expected. Towels were changed everyday and beds every couple of days. It also has a swimming pool with an adequate number of sunbeds, chairs and two large sun shades. This was lovely to cool down in after sightseeing in the town or nearby Dubrovnik. Visiting Dubrovnik is easy from this location with a water taxi leaving Cavtat on a regular basis and a local bus which can be caught on the main road just outside the apartments. The Villa has 10 apartments over three floors. It was a very friendly environment which we enjoyed immensely. The owners were wonderful, so helpful and continually checking if we were ok. We look forward to visiting again in the not too distant future.

There was nothing that we didn't like. However the Villa is placed on a hill and there is a very steep slope down to the town so not a good location for anyone with walking difficulties. We returned from our holiday a lot fitter than when we arrived!

Friendly, family-run rooms. Good value for money. Short walk to town center. Nice shower shampoos.

Both rooms were a bit smelly. Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner and typical loosened or not fully closed shower doors. A bit of a steep walk for older folk.

The apartment had a well equipped kitchen area, a huge comfortable bed and a modern bathroom with a powerful shower. The owners were really lovely and could not do enough to welcome you. There was also a beautiful private pool area with plenty of sun loungers. Pool towels were also provided. It was a perfect base, minutes walk from the centre of Cavtat.

Just be aware that the walk to the property from the centre of Cavtat is short but steep and wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with mobility issues

We had a great welcome here from everyone, even the dog. The descent into Cavtat, and the walk back were never a problem like some mentioned in feedback. We were even given a lift back to the airport. Super hosts, great value accommodation.
