Great location, easy/free parking, friendly staff, family-owned, great price, nice bar + restaurant

I have stayed here many times and always works out perfect for me. There is easy parking right next to the entrance door to the hotel. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are perfect. Clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are nice. There is a very nice breakfast that is included in the stay. There is a nice bar below the hotel so if you get back early enough from your day's activities you can enjoy one or many drinks in the bar and go up to your room and no worries about how to get home legally. The price is very good. I believe it is close to the airport or so I have read. It is an easy drive to the Cologne Cathedral which is a MUST see. Stunning. And the epic Cologne Christmas Markets have to be seen as they are so amazing and that is why I was there the last few times and midnight mass on Christmas Eve at the Cologne Cathedral MUST be attended because it is so beautiful and moving. I have attended it 3 of the last 4 years. I should point out they are closed on Christmas Eve and I stayed here for the Christmas Markets and not midnight mass. I answered the one question about being a romantic place to stay as yes because of the restaurant and bar below the hotel. A nice couple wanting a fun and relaxing evening can have a nice meal and many drinks in the restaurant and bar and then wonder up to the room with no worries about how to get the car home or finding a taxi or looking for an Uber. I will stay here again next year if I attend the Cologne Christmas Markets.

Great service, staff were fantastic, handy for Koln/Bonn Airport.

It was very comfortable and a great price, close to the Airport as we were getting an early morning flight the next day (2 adults and 4 kids in two rooms) The staff in the hotel and the Brauhaus were fantastic. The lady at check-in arranged a picnic bag for us in the morning as we were leaving the hotel too early to make breakfast, very nice touch. She also arranged a taxi to the airport the next morning which arrived promt at the time we had requested. Note- A walk to the Airport is possible if you are ok with walking, dont have heavy luggage or children in tow! Weissbier in the Brauhuas was fantastic, outside area was great to sit in the evening sun. Note- there is no air-con in the rooms, not a problem for me, but it can be sticky in the German summer when it is 20degC+ at bedtime!

This is a nice place to stay!

I liked being able to park in front of the hotel. I also loved the bathroom, which had a big tub. The room itself was very nice. And it was convenient to just go downstairs for a nice dinner. The breakfast was great!

Too noisy for me.

Very close to the airport and not far from city center.

Unfortunately the hotel has no acustic insulation, I could hear my neighbors and the street is very noisy. It was impossible for me to sleep.

We stayed only overnight but hospitality was first class and the rooms were neat and tidy

Our train was delayed an hour which took us over the check in time and when we told the owner they were more than happy to stay on a bit longer to accommodate us. The people who work in the place were lovely and welcoming.

Location is very close to the airport, about 5 min drive time. Very clean room and also comfortable and properly heated (was there on winter time).

There was an event in the restaurant during the evening, there was quite some people shouting and loud until midnight.

Recommended and close to airport.

- Reasonable close to airport, I arrived late night, so I took taxi to hotel, price of taxi is about 10euro. - Breakfast is fine, not to many things can select, but it's enough for me. - Water for shower is strong, very comfortable.

- My room is on the third floor (top floor), for me is ok, but if you have a lot of luggage, might need more time to carry. - No fan or AC in the room, the night I stayed was raining, so luckily I had a cool night. If it is a hot night, it might be a problem. - Hair dryer doesn't have cover of fan, so my hair got stuck in, it's quite dangerous and it should be changed.

Exceptional

Very close to the airport, it's the perfect location especially if you have an early flight. The bus stop is just in front of the hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and very polite, they even arranged the breakfast a bit earlier cause I had to leave at 7 am, that was much appreciated! The cappuccino was the best that I have ever had abroad, I am Italian so I have high standards : ) Recommended

Great location and restaurant, staff where super friendly and it is a great location in respect to the airport. Super value for money.

No air con, I know it is a shock to have such weather in Germany, but with a fridge in the room was so hot at night.
