We stay here regularly, as family live nearby. We always have the same large room and we know the staff well. Breakfast is excellent. Our room has a clean bathroom (important!) with ample space - and everything works!

We had a slight problem with the app for the car park barrier but this was quickly resolved.

decent hotel, better than at first sight

breakfast included a lot of fresh options, better than the average hotel experience

room was a bit smelly, but nothing too disturbing room windows on ground floor made it feel like it was in a basement location, neighborhood is not a pleasant one; building is not inviting, but it was good for what we needed easy to visit Koln center with an Uber (15-20 euro's)

Nice big rooms, very clean and free parking. Breakfast was very good, you can ask for eggs with all sorts of options. Enough restaurant options in the neighborhood.

It is a bit further away from the city centre, but Public transportation takes you there in a few minutes. EV charging option is 700m away.

Superb

Although the location was NOT in walking distance from the convention that I was attending, It actually turned out to be a much better ordeal than being in a overly crowed ambience such as the other "higher" quality hotels that were just across the street from the convention center. Even though it was a 3 star hotel, there was absolutely NOTHING to miss from the other higher rated hotels. The staffs' courtesy & professionalism went far beyond their specific duties and it was a pleasure to interact with them at any given time. All of their suggestions payed off, when away from the hotel, thus, making my journey quite proficient!!!

Must take transportation to the downtown area was 30-45 minutes depending on where you wanted to go. But, all in all, I would stay here again. Staff was very helpful in getting us around. Very pleasant and kind.

Excellent service

The service and personnel were very friendly, installations are nice and room size is very convenient also for dog visitors ;) Breakfast was also very good.

There is not too much to do around the area, but transport options are good to go to the Altstadt if you dont count with car.

The room was very cleaned and comfortable, breakfast delicios, personal was very polite and nice, the entire hotel has an elegant ambiance.

the walls are to thin because was hearing the other guests, but I am not sure if they were speaking normal or they were just to noisy.

A very clean German hotel in an unlikely location that's a perfect example of its kind

Excellent breakfast and impeccably clean typically German room, with very friendly and helpful receptionist. An unlikely hidden gem.

Nothing much in terms of restaurants and bars in the immediate area but there are a few good places within about a 15-minute walk.

Wonderful staff, good breakfast, clean and safe, no air conditioning.

Breakfast was great! Had everything and the staff was wonderful. The room was a typical small room but the bathroom was excellent. It was clean when I arrived. I did not request my room to serviced anytime during my stay.

The hotel had no air conditioning. The time I was there the temperatures were very high. The only thing cooling my room was a large floor fan. It was like sleeping and staying in a sauna.

The staff certainly went the extra mile and everything was very nice.

The breakfast was exceptional! Also, the owner/staff were very helpful and friendly. My stay was a pleasant one. I would come back and stay there again if I stayed alone. However most of the time I travel with my wife and she would not be able to make the long walks to the trolly. A suggestion would be to maybe offer a shuttle once or twice a day.

I think I covered that in the last statement…the distance to the trolly on a hot day can be rather difficult.
