don't go if you can't check in 9:00-17:00!!!

i can write what happened to me. i arrived about the time that i had writen to the hotel. that was an hour that there is nobody at the reception. i didn't get any massage before from the hotel about what to do! it was 21:00h and everything around was dark and empty. i didn't know what to do! after sometime of looking around i found small sign that i have to call local phone number. a wouman ansered me, ask me to disconnect and she will call me back in few minutes. after 20 minutes when nothing happened i called again, but got a wouman that spoke only the german language which i can't understaned and she disconnected the call!!! so i had to call the main office of "Booking" and very nice guy named Abdula took care of the problem and made sure that i make everything right with an automatic system outside the hotel and get into the room. all together the check in took an hour! another imaginary incident: there was a problem to lock the room door from inside so i used the chain. in the morning i could not release it so i called the reception. the wouman there told me that "there is nothing to do now because it is Saturday!!! i couldn't belive what i am hearing!!! it means that i am in jail in the room till the day !!! at last, i found myself the strange system and i succeded to open it There is one important conclution: if you come to this hotel not between 9:00h to 17:00h and you are not femilure with the all automatic sistem (which i had never seen before like it) do not dare to go there

convenient location in a charming town

I have stayed here before. The location is excellent – close to the railway station and only a short walk into town. The reception was as pleasant and efficient as always. Parking was easy in the integral garage, wifi good and easy to access. Arkadia is very dog-friendly, too.

Kitchen provision in the room was less good than it used to be – there was literally only one of each piece of crockery and cutlery. This seems to have been a policy amendment to cope with the pandemic cleansing, but it is really awkward for guests when coupled with no provision of washing up materials ( no liquid, no sponge or cloth, no drying cloth, no dishwasher). I’d recommend checking early on arrival if something is usually provided in case this was simply an oversight in my room. I didn’t need much, since I was out with family for meals etc. so didn’t query it myself.

Zahlreiche Defekte, die hätten dem Hotelbetreiber _vorher_ auffallen müssen: Defekte Leuchte am Bett, nicht funktionierender Abfluss im Waschbecken, Duschkabinen-Tür schließt nicht, übler Geruch im Eingangsbereich/Küche, abgewetztes Kopfteil am Bett. Da es auf Anhieb nur E-Mail abends für Kontaktaufnahme gab, verschob sich die Rückmeldung auf den nächsten Morgen und das Aus-Checken: „Ja, wir haben Ihre E-Mail gesehen“ Wow, das nenne ich „Kundenorientierung“…

Manque d'explications. Ce sont des apparts hôtels et donc aucun personnel à notre arrivée. Nous étions perdus. Une fois ce fonctionnement compris, nous y étions très bien. Il manquait une machine à café dans la chambre pour nous dépanner.

Geräumiges und sauberes Zimmer mit sehr guter Ausstattung.

Ich kam erst sehr spät abends an, so dass ich bis auf die Abgabe der Zimmerkarte am nächsten Morgen keinen persönlichen Kontakt mit dem Hotelpersonal hatte. Die elektronische Kommunikation war aber sehr präzise und freundlich, und es hat alles bestens geklappt. Das Zimmer war wunderbar geräumig, mit einem guten Bett und einer erstaunlich gut ausgestatteten Küchenzeile (incl. Herd mit Backofen/Mikrowelle und sogar Backpapier). Neuwertiges Bad mit großer ebenerdiger Dusche. Ich war also sehr zufrieden.
