A good value for money

A nice hotel and not worn out. Receptionists were attentive. The room had almost all key necessities. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

The floor in the room was hardly vacuumed during our stay. The shower cabin was leaking. The hair drier was old and weak; it overheated after 2 minutes of use and refused to work. The cleaners could hardly speak either German or English.

Location & facilities. Great sauna. Comfortable bed & clean room.

Outrageous price for breakfast. Despite paying on check in they still did a temporary authorisation on my card that took me over a month to clear. I sent the hotel numerous emails and received a poor response. Finally cleared after contacting financial institution. This would make me think twice about staying again.

Great hotel

Lovely big room, lots of space and lovely bathroom. We were on the very sunny side of the hotel overlooking the courtyard (lovely and quiet) but that did mean the sun on the room most of the day and the aircon struggled to keep up. Otherwise a lovely stay, good breakfast and excellent location.

Great hotel with excellent condition of rooms and other areas. Breakfast is excellent, with plenty of choices. Very cosy atmosphere in the lobby/bar area. Very comfortable beds, above average room dimension.

Beautiful location and nice looking hotel and rooms

The AC malfunctioned all weekend during a very hot weekend. At check-in no one told us about the already existing problem so we arrived back in our room later that day to discover a hot room. When we went to ask about the AC at the reception we were told it would not be fixed all weekend and there were no alternatives offered. I asked for a fan and another room for the second night. For a 5-star hotel, customer service was appalling. We did receive a room on one of the lower levels for our second night but no other compensation was offered.

For purpose and expectations it was - as said - good!

Room was surprisingly very good for business purposes. Right size, good working facilities and plugs all over for ones electronic gear. Bathroom adequate in size and facilities.

Room could have had a king size bed - which was explicitly asked for! Overall looks of the room a bit oldish!

attitude of some staff at the check in. And also when I asked for a toothbrush, the staff at the counter said. we dont have and also I dont know when we will get a toothbrush. How weird is that? a hotel this category no toothbrush for my entire stay.On top of the poo attitude

The hotel is very nice-looking and the rooms are both spacious and well appointed. Also, the location is great.

I stayed at this hotel two times, and both times the check-in experience was a bad joke. I requested adjoining rooms for my family of 5 and both times I was initially sent to rooms that did not connect. The first time it took a considerable amount of time for the front desk to reassign us and the second time they reassigned us into yet another pair of rooms that did not connect, before sending us to a THIRD set of rooms that were finally suitable. Every employee I encountered (except for a very competent and professional woman working the front desk in the mornings when I checked out) seemed to be brand new to both the hotel and the hospitality industry on the whole. For example, when asking the bartender for a gin martini, I was served a gin and tonic. At dinner, drinks that had been requested were never delivered. When a roll-away bed was delivered, it didn't include the proper sheets because the porter claimed that sheets were the responsibility of housekeeping. Also, while the breakfast is wonderful (but far too expensive if you don't bundle it into the room rate), the food available for dinner is both very limited and of extremely poor quality. Absolutely not worth the exorbitant cost to eat there for anything other than the breakfast buffet.

Convenient location, walking distance to a large and beautiful city park, and the Bad Homberg Altstadt. Helpful staff, good facilities, quality of room.

Ambient room temperature (in late December), even with room thermostadt turned off, required room windows to be opened so I could sleep.
