Big room but the bathroom is small and with little privacy

The bathroom is in the bedroom but has an open ceiling, so for two people there‘s not much privacy. The lighting is also a bit poor.

Very clean, comfortable and quirky! The hotel is on a quiet street in the heart of Bad Homburg. Highly recommended.

The key wouldn’t turn in the outdoor lock, I rang the bell but it took a long time for someone to answer and to give me the door code to gain access.

No one about to report any issues to - had a problem with bathroom lights. Left a note at the reception desk & tried texting. It didn’t spoil the trip but was just annoying

Simple, efficient nice room

Up three flights - good for my fitness as no lift. To be fair warned on the website. Top floor no air con in a particularly hot week, so fine in usual circumstances but best avoided if it will be very hot!

Different and agreeable

The location is amazing and, although it shocked me a bit at the beginning, I found the decoration cool for being so different.

The shower "rainfall" did not work and the room did not have a "Do not disturb" door sign for the clean service to know I was sin my room in the morning (they respectfully knocked and asked, but it would have been much easier with a sign)

Cozy clean room in an accessible part of the town. Right next to green parks, shoping Street and restaurants...

No tea kettle in the room and/or no kettle in the common area. The snack machine didn't work properly, managed to spend a few euros without getting anything...

Room large, great bathroom, high ceilings with large windows which came in handy as there is no air-conditioning. location perfect in old city.

Disappointing

There was water leaking from the shower, apparently to the room below. The hotel staff knocked on the door and entered immediately without waiting for an answer. My teenage daughters just had time to put a towel around themselves. This was unacceptable. We were then told we could not use water in the room - no shower, no toilet etc. but we were refused an alternate room.

Easy checkin via a key box entry, central location with many options for meals and drinks, and as advertised. Communication via chat was quick.

Location is good. I could park in front of the door at no extra cost.

- Pretty rude welcoming via a videocamera interface (I arrived late at night) and immediate and relatively unfriendly request to show my green pass into the camera. - No breakfast - At 10.30 a.m. (!) a knock on the door by the cleaning lady. I responded I am not ready yet (I was working on some e-mails). Her answer: "Yes, but not too long. I must go home!" Seriously?? - Overall the premises are a bit run down. As we say in German: "Der Lack ist ein wenig ab..."
