Definitely one of our highlights during our 4 weeks travelling in Italy.
The instructions to find Aria de Mare were very clear. Yes it was a challenging walk up the streets through the town from the train station to the accommodation but the views! No regrets! Worth every drop of sweat! Maurizio was at the accommodation to greet us and kindly took our bags up the stairs to the room. Among other things, he clearly explained how to access the hiking paths between the 5 towns including getting a pass via the authorised website. Staying here was like a dream come true. An incredibly authentic Italian experience staying in what we thought was the best of the 5 towns of Cinque Terre!
The little bar fridge in the room was struggling to work efficiently.

Postcard views and fantastic host
WHEN YOU COME OUT OF THE TRAIN TUNNEL TURN RIGHT INSTEAD OF LEFT (I made the biggest mistake ever and hauled luggage up hundreds of stairs). The view was the best. Room setup was good. Host was great- super helpful- walked me through how to do the other villages. Had a wonderful time.
Bed was a bit stiff but amenities and view made it totally worth it.

We loved our stay and it was definitely a great value if you are looking to stay in Manarola.
The views were incredible. Very tucked away and quite spot in Manarola. Maurizio was an excellent host and gave us some fantastic recommendations for places to eat and the best ways to hike to neighboring towns.

Excellent stay, amazing view
We had an excellent stay at Aria Di mare. Maurizio was so helpful from the beginning, and made us feel right at home. The room was comfortable and spacious with an incredible view. Highly recommend!

Beautiful view
Beautiful view from the balcony. Close to Billy's-- a good fish restaurant. Comfortable bed. The host is very helpful.
It worked for us since we carried backpacks but if you have luggage, know there are many steps to get there. Make sure you watch the video to show you the route to walk as it's different from google maps etc which takes you up many more staircases.
