Nice location. Very clean but lacked some essentials.
Very clean and good location.
WIFI couldn’t be found or kept cutting out when connected. (Children weren’t impressed). Only camomile tea available. It is an ok place for a night.

Not worth the money - disappointing
Amazing view. Very clean. Renovated.
Kettle doesn’t work. So you can’t really make coffee or tea. No hangers in the wardrobe. No space in the bathroom for any of our toiletries. No shampoo but only refilled soap that is not labeled properly. Mould in the shower. No reply from Elena, the lady who texted me for checkin details since 2 days ago even though I texted about these issues. Housekeeping knocking on the door at 9.30 despite 10am checkout.

Do not stay here!
This is the worst host I have ever experienced in any room booking. Firstly she forgot to send check in details so we couldn't access the room. There was no tea, coffee or wifi as advertised. When I asked her about this she ignored my questions. We went and purchased coffee but the jug was broken and the plug didn't even fit the wall socket. The second night the room flooded due to rain coming down the steps and under the door. When I messaged my concern (along with pictures) about the room flooding and there was forecast for heavy rain all night she replied saying "it's raining alot". Which was more than the people staying downstairs who did not receive any response.
Lastly the terrace which is available to all guests is full of broken chairs and tables.
A simple acknowledgement and correspondence would have gone a long way to rectifying these issues.

Best views of Manarola
Quite possibly the best view in Manarola, absolutely stunning. This is what you are paying for with this room as the room is otherwise extremely basic and no support at all.
Responsiveness of the team. There is no one on site and communication for arrival came through whatsapp - did not provide information needed (best way to access noting Manarola is EXTREMELY hilly - DO NOT take the stair route like we did!, wifi info, etc) and did not respond timely to messages. Room was clean but no privacy - can see clearly into bathroom window, proper shades required. The room otherwise met our needs but is very basic.

Many glaring issues, uncaring host, nice terrace
Unfortunately, there is very little positive I can say about this accomodation
From the beginning you are made to feel that the hosts are running the business with the contempt for customers they can afford due to the prime location of the accommodation and the view from the terrace.
The first issue was a lack of WiFi. This issue was present even prior to us moving in according to the previous guests. The host refused to address this issue and blanked multiple calls and messages about this
The second issue was a lack of hot water during our stay. When we reported this we also had no response or attempt at resolution from the host. We had to shower cold.
The third issue was that the terrace (which is the major selling point of the accommodation on Booking.com) is not well maintained at all. There was one wobbly table and a couple of unsteady chairs (pictures attached). At the back of the terrace there is a graveyard of old broken furniture. There are metal elements protruding from the floor disguised with an upside down bucket and a rusty step ladder.
The fourth issue was is a complete lack of basic equipment to improve the quality of your stay. No plates, cutlery, no bottle opener, no microwave - nothing. There were 2 wine glasses in an apartment for 4. This is particularly upsetting as you have to carry everything with you from the car park up the winding roads, so all the more I would expect the apartments to have such basic necessities.
Finally, no attempt at helping us move in at all. Other accommodations at least offered a wheelbarrow or trolley to help guests move their luggage from the car park to the accommodation but out host refused to help us in any way
Overall, this was a disappointing stay. There were multiple issues and when we tried to report them, nothing was done at all. The host clearly doesn't care about her guests given the fact that whilst ignoring our WhatsApp messages, she continued to post stories online!

WiFi didn’t work. We reached out to owners but they ignored us. We did ask precisely about WiFi before booking. There were spider nests in the ceiling across property. They send us request to pay higher tourist tax than required by the law.

Stunning views!
Me and my son enjoyed our stay in room "Calipso" for three nights in mid june. Nice and clean room with a balcony with wonderful views over the sea, town and mountains. There was a refrigerator in the room which we stuffed with water, soft drinks and some food for breakfast. It also had a great AC, which was so nice since it was really hot outside.
I would highly recommend Olimpo Affittacamere. We would love to stay there again! 😃
The only minus is that I contacted the host twice regarding if they could issue resident tourist cards for us (only for tourists staying in Manarola or Riomaggiore), but I didn't get any reply. With a resident tourist card you get a discount on the Via dell'Amore-road, and you can also walk in any direction you want and even later in the evenings, when the road is closed for other tourists.

Great location with a comfortable room, but disappointed by the terrace and air conditioning.
The location is fantastic and the room is of a good size for up to four guests. Check in was smooth and the beds comfortable overall.
The furniture on advertised terrace is in disrepair. There are only two functional chairs and one table. The heat pump was also unreliable at times.

Everything we hoped for
Beautiful view from the balcony of both the ocean and the town and mountains. Nice room with a comfortable bed. Location was perfect for escaping the throngs of fellow tourists in town.
Just don't trust Google maps to get you there the best way. Follow the main road of the town up the hill and around from the back. Google maps took us through a maze of steep stairs that just about killed us with all our luggage.

Cinque Terra was great!
The accomodation is only a short distance from the train station and center of the town. This was ideal as we were able to rest during the hottest part of the day when all the day tourists were there. We utilised the early morning hours as well as the late afternoon/evening. This made the trip very enjoyable.
Î tried to contact the host on a number of occassions in advance but did not receive a response. This only came 1 day prior to arrival. As this was our first stop after flying in, this created a bit of uncertainty. In the end everything worked out fine though. It was rather unusual not to have personal interaction with a single person at the residence.
The accomodation is within easy walking distance from the train station however the hill to get there is rather steep. Stairs must also be managed. We knew this in advance hence we travelled light but it was still strenuous during the middle of day in September with luggage.

The room with the balcony was very nice, and well kept. It was easy to find it with the videos sent by the person in charge.
The price is high for what you get because no breakfast in included and you checkin late and have to checkout early so just for one day it is not worth the money

View from the terrace was very good.
There was only one coffee cup in the room for two people. There was no tea or coffee but only sugar. No bottled water either. So we could not drink anything at the terrace. We informed the owner but there was no action taken.

Location was great with good views , Elena was friendly and kind to help us out with the directions and easily available during all the time over phone or WhatsApp. She allowed us to keep our luggage's after checkout for couple of hours.

Wonderful location by sunny weather
Very nice apart, rather for 2-3 nights, (then it might be tight). Stunning view from balcony in the room and from terrace, which is accessible for all guests. For this you come to Manarola. The location of the apart is the biggest adventage - you have totally beautiful view on the sea and the houses in the village, on the other hand it is not so far away from the place you leave the car. Another priceless adventage is possibility to park the car in the garage, without that there is No way to leave the car close to apartment. However if you are with the big van or car like Mercedes Vito - forget it. It will not fit into the garage. The host, Elena, provides all necessary information ahead of stay and guides you how to get to the apartment plus all other advices.
The apart is small so has No place for big luggage or for clothes for longer stay. Still there is ca 400 meters from garage to the house with ups and downs, many stairs. If you have bad luck and it is raining, old paths and stairs become very slippy…

Highly recommended beautiful, romantic stay!
WOW - incredible location, very comfortable. We loved the exposed brick/stone inside the apartment. The balcony area offered a nicely shaded and beautiful view. The host was very helpful and texted us all the information we needed to check in.
Some areas of the bathroom walls need to be cleaned a bit more - dark spots on the tiling unsure what it was. It was a small thing. Just flagging here for the host. The apartment had been freshly mopped when we got in so everything else felt extremely clean and nice!

Doesn't seem to be well looked after. Terrace was had a lot of trash, overflowing from the trash cans. Also view was blocked by branches that haven't been well maintained. Also no coffee, water or basic amenities.
