Lovely apartment away from crowds.

Great location up the hill and away from the crowds, but still near some good restaurants and cafes. Very near a walking path that leads to Riomaggiore. The local cafe near church was very friendly and has great coffee. The apartment was comfortable...especially for my older friend who had the actual room. I slept in the shared kitchen dining room which was fine but for some reason I thought there may be two bedrooms. anyhow this was not an issue for us and we loved our stay here.

There is only a flimsy transparent curtain on the bathroom off the living room and it faces the walking path outside so I hung my towel over that window when showering. It would be good to have a proper curtain or blind over that window for more privacy.

Facilmente raggiungibile dalla Stazione di Manarola, la nostra camera aveva un ottimo posizionamento del letto, molto comodo. La posizione è perfetta per vedere Manarola e per spostarsi tramite treno poi. Pulito ed ordinato.

Casa molto carina, curata, confortevole e molto pulita. Si nota l'attenzione al dettaglio. Dotata di una camera matrimoniale spaziosa e un bel soggiorno. Perfetto anche il il fatto che avesse 2 bagni. Posizione comodissima a pochissimi minuti a piedi dal centro di Manarola. Staff molto gentile.

Manca uno spazio esterno/ stendino / fili in cui stendere. Specialmente d'estate quando si torna dal mare con gli asciugamani e i costumi bagnati.

Soggiorno eccezionale, il B&B un vero bijou!

Posizione eccellente proprio all'inizio del paese. Le stanze sono ubicate in "casette" separate molto carine. Ogni stanza ha un'entrata autonoma esterna. La colazione la si può gustare sul bel terrazzino ampio contornato da piante di gelsomino. Ognuno si serve e sparecchia da solo. All' interno ci sono prodotti Bio, quali confetture di marchio Coop Bio alle marmellate di agrumi del luogo. Come opzione c'è frutta, cornetti al burro, pane toast, una varietà dolce e salata come tortine, uova sode, affettati e formaggi ecc. e da bere succo e acqua. La caffetteria è operata dal personale. Io ho preso un buonissimo cappuccino. La stanza è pulitissima, nuovissima, arredata con gusto, molto accogliente. Dispone anche di bollitore con varie bustine da Tè e zucchero Bio Coop. In frigo ci sono due bottiglie di vetro di acqua naturale suppongo microfiltrata in omaggio. Il letto ed i cuscini erano comodissimi. Il bagno pulitissimo ma il nostro era un pochino piccolo. Non c'era posto per il bidet. Il lavandino davvero minuscolo. Non c'era posto per posizionare due beauty ma non è stato un grosso problema. Alla fine per una notte andava più che bene. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo il kit di cortesia composto da dischetti in ovatta, cotton fioc, lima unghie, saponette e cuffietta. Inoltre c'erano dispenser di qualità con sapone per mani, doccia e crema corpo con un profumo delizioso. Phon per capelli professionale. Wi-Fi gratis. Il personale molto gentile e sempre disponibile. Siamo stati davvero benissimo, sicuramente ci ritorneremo. Grazie mille per tutto!

Fantastic Bed & Breakfast

Superb bed and breakfast in a lovely location. After reading multiple reviews, the uphill walk from the railway station was shorter and easier than we expected. Due to the hillside location, our room was smaller than a hotel room, but well designed, clean and comfortable. There was a hanging rail for clothes and more than enough room to store our two large suitcases. Sara and Sylvia are the perfect hosts, breakfast was delicious and included fresh fruit, organic yogurt and cereal.

Struttura molto bella in posizione strategica ed ottima accoglienza. Da qui siamo riusciti a visitare tutte le cinque terre.

Uno dei due split dell'aria fredda, tra l'altro in una giornata molto calda, non raffreddava molto ma Sara si è subito interessata del problema.

Good balcony on the hill

The aircon on the main bedroom floor was not working. When i went there is in june and also 30 degree which is very hot.. i asked but they said it might took awhile. It was still not working after i backed to hotel the late evening, very hot and very difficult to sleep. I just hope the hotel has extra mobile air con or a big power fan.

Magnificient view from the room

A cosy place in the middle of buzzing Cinque Terre. The view from the little balcony connected to the room was nothing short of amazing. It is no lie to describe it as a "sea view", though you have the little village of Manarola between you and the sea.

It can sometimes be quite noisy from the little alley outside the front entrance. The nights were quiet, though. Also, the room is pretty small, which is due to the layout of the village on a slope

A Spacious Room with a Sea View and a Warm Welcome

We stayed at Da Baranin in Manarola on our first trip to the Cinque Terre eight years ago and were delighted with the newly decorated rooms and wonderful balcony sea view from the room we stayed in this time. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the vineyards was still a welcoming start to the day with fresh croissants, fruit, yogurt, and coffee/tea made to order. Early check-in (11:00-1:00) was a great plus and Sara, our host, was extremely helpful in explaining all the changes to National Park trails access since our first visit and booking our passes at a discount. She also helped us with booking table reservations. We loved the peacefulness of Manarola after the day trippers went home and the sound of bells chiming the hour the first time we came, but loved it even more this time. Returning to Da Baranin felt like coming home to a happy place.

Our backs are not what they were eight years ago, so the beds were a bit too firm for us.

The space in the apartment was fabulous and it was very well equipped. The location was great, yes it’s a fair hike to get there but it was quiet and peaceful away from any crowds. A great base to be able to self cater especially when we are traveling for 9 weeks. Easy access to trails for hiking.

A wonderful 5 Terre experience!

We loved having a balcony overlooking the town, and a separate twin bed. Silvia and Sara were wonderful hosts. We really appreciated their responsiveness during the booking process, and the delicious breakfast they provided every morning.

We would have liked more comfortable chairs on the balcony.

Loved this place.

Beautiful location. Great communication from the host. Arrived early in the morning and room was not ready which was not a problem they kept our bags and later put them in our room. We were given great clear instructions how to reach the place. The room had everything we needed and was clean and made up everyday. The view from our room was so beautiful and relaxing after a day hiking. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful and had an outdoor deck for breakfast the views were amazing. Very close to the hiking trails. The B&B has a special green distinction that allows them to offer discount on National park passes with train access. I would highly recommend this property.
