Loved staying at Lakeland Loft

Secure on-sight parking was a big plus, as were shops a short walk away. The apartment was clean and spacious but cosy, and well thought out, with a fully equipped kitchen, a fireplace, good wi- fi connection, smart TV , and a nice view across to a park. We felt very much at home and would have enjoyed staying longer.

Nothing we didn’t like, but some pods to fit the coffee machine, shower soap and hair blower would have been nice.

The stay was good, very convenient location to lake and restaurants.

We arrived on Friday and the property letting office was open, so it was easy to collect the keys from them.

The beds were too soft for my back. My teenage daughter & I shared the spare room, the blinds in the spare room didn't work . We pulled it up to open the window, we couldn't pull it back down. So we had to cover the window with cushions for privacy. Bathroom ceiling is mouldy , one bathroom/toilet for a family of four was a bit tight.

A lovely apartment to spend a week in a beautiful place.

Nicely presented, very spacious and clean. We had our own parking space and were in the town.

It was up many flights of stairs which was a problem getting our cases up as we are an older couple. Only gave us one roll of toilet paper and it would have been nice if there was soap in the bathroom!

Lovely and homely

Close to centre of Windermere town. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Comfy beds and settees. Kitchen well equipped.

The apartment felt cold and uninviting upon first arrival but once we put the heating, lights and hot water on, it felt lovely and homely. Only 1 toilet roll. No tea or coffee or welcome pack

Really nice place in a perfect location

There was no breakfast. It is a self catering property. The location is perfect! Easy walks within a few minutes to all shops and restaurants

1 roll of toilet paper provided for 3 adults for an entire week. No sugar, cooking oils etc in the kitchen. No laundry soap for the washer

Pleasant apartment with a private car parking space. Excellent location.

Excellent location within easy reach of the shops. It was easy getting to the lake either by walking or by bus. There is a Private parking space which was great , view from the open plan lounge was amazing. Quiet apartment.

Washing machine had a note saying 'do not use,there is a leak,hob was difficult to switch on and off, there was no dust pan and it would had been good to have extra toilet paper and some cleaner. This was not a problem as I brought some.

Apart from initial entry problems the unit is beautiful and has wonderful facilities. Thank you.

The lack of assistance to initially get in the unit which was on the 3 Rd floor. After 3 phone calls ( 2 for 4 mins each and one for 6 mins) for assistance and questions as to what we were doing, had done, comparison of key numbers etc finally James was extremely helpful on the help line and kept me waiting on informing me as to what he was doing and could do for37 mins and then letting me know that a maintenance man would be coming that night . At approx 6 .10pm we managed to pull the door towards ourselves and manipulate both keys to get in. When the maintenance man arrived at approximately 7pm he agreed that the door needed adjusting however so long as we used the silver pull under the top key lock we can get the locks to open. This information needs to be written up to assist people getting in without stress . We have never had this problem with any accommodation before and we have travelled to the UK many times since 1996. It took us approximately 2 hours to get in and many trips up and down the stairs to check the next suggestion as to how to get in. We had to wait outside at the bottom of the steps to get communication.

Was very satisfied with everything, will stay again.

It was very homily and everything you needed was there, plus a large bath and shower.

One problem thats all just had to clean the shower head where the dirt had gathered from the water coming through the holes.

Little Gem in Windemere.

Perfect Gem in Windemere , equipped with everything. Apartment comes with private parking which is big plus . Also got Netflix for the days when the weather is not great to be outdoors. Highly Recommend it and will definitely return .

Poor range of TV channels in lounge. Washing machine was not working and no effort was made to resolve this during the week of our stay.

Great location of property and spacious living area.

There was a note to say the washing machine was broken which was a big inconvenience as we were anticipating using it. Surely it could have been mended or replaced between bookings, or even during someone’s stay if necessary!

The location was good.

The TV in the lounge didn’t work properly. Had to be retuned every time we turned it on and didn’t pick up hardly any channels. The washing machine wasn’t working which it would have been nice to know about prior to arrival as we had booked an apartment with amenities for a reason. The hot water was farcical. We returned every evening to no hot water despite it saying the tank was timed to refill when we were out in the day time.
