Super accommodation with everything you could want.

Everything in one place. Giddy Goose is central for everything. There are cafes, restaurants, bars, pubs and convenience stores/food shops all within easy walking distance. The bus and railway stations are close by too. We visited Bowness and also Kendal using the frequent local buses. Off road parking for 2 cars, what more could you ask for?

We visited last year and it was so good, we had to go again!!

A wonderful place for our family reunion. Loved the privacy of the garden for family outdoor meals

Roomy and comfortable for whole family.

We had two cars. Parking of second car was sometimes an issue but host provided disc for alternate parking nearby.

Lovely stay in a reasonably priced property. Perfect for a base whilst you explore the area

Spacious, separate kitchen, dining room and lounge so good for a larger party size. The location is ideal for walks and shops.

It needs a good clean, we had to wipe sides, oven and dishes before we felt we could use it. There is a smell in the kitchen that appears to be coming from the drains.

Location great, beautiful house, felt very cold inside and elec fire gave off no warmth?

Beds - mattresses felt like the springs were going and way too soft, need replacing

We had a lovely family break. Great location for the town and good walk to lake.

The decor was tasteful and homely. There was plenty of crockery so no need to immediately wash up.

A tiny comment, a floor mat would have been good in the kitchen to wipe feet on.

Perfect location to travel around. Plenty of room and well stocked appliances. Loved the decor.

Only problem was no downstairs loo for my 92 yr old mum but otherwise no issues at all.

The kitchen floor wasn't as clean as the rest of the property, corners missed dust etc. But this is an observation rather than a big problem.

Great size of house for our family gathering. All the facilities we needed for our stay.

Good house, fantastic location.

Location was fantastic. Lots of space in the house. Items in good condition. Good for families.

Had a power cut for over 24 hours. Daughter cut her arm in kitchen. Beds really soft, obviously ok if you like soft beds. Floors very creaky. Had to hunt for the outside bin.

Great house!

The house was fantastic. You can tell a lot of care has gone into it. Very cozy and all the rooms are great. The kitchen is huge and so is the dining area. Perfect for a big family or a group of friends!

When we arrived there was someone parked right in front of our spot, so we had to go find other parking at 11 at night. It's not the property's fault of course but just a heads up that it might happen!

Gorgeous house in centre of Windermere

Location so close to Windermere was brilliant, and the garden backing onto the field is also lovely. Kitchen was well stocked and a good size, which was good for cooking. Overall the property is clean, cosy and we loved our stay!

The only down point was parking - the property has one parking space to the rear. It was on a road that wasn't laid, with man pot holes. It was also REALLY tight and we had to manoeuvre around the neightbours! The others staying at the house had to go to a pay & display in Windermere.
