Best choice to stay at lake district.

This is the perfect place for first-time visitors to the Lake District! It's conveniently located near the supermarket, train station, and bus stops. John is a fantastic host who responds to questions almost instantly—I highly recommend staying here! The accommodation is clean, well-equipped, and offers easy parking. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to the Lake district.

Lovely location,all clean and tidy on arrival ,everything you need to self cater. Host John showed us around the apartment,shared facts and gave us ideas of things to do.

Fantastic stay in a great flat with a wonderful host

Fantastic huge flat in the middle of Windermere within easy walk of everything. Carport parking was a great perk. Flat has everything you need, recliner couches and chairs, comfy beds, big fluffy towels, well equipped kitchen, loads of books and games, streamed tv, very dog friendly with a park across the road and their own bed and bowl in the flat. The host is a lovely man called John who can’t do enough for you, chatty and helpful, a true gentleman. We will def go again.

Fabulous

Great location. Steps out the back take you into the centre of Windermere. 20 mins walk to bowness. John was wonderful. He was there to meet us and tell us all we needed to know. Lovely, clean and comfortable with plenty of room even for 6 adults and well equipped with all you could need. We will certainly be back. Thank you so much 😊

Only slight gripe was the shower didn't have a lot of power. But it works and is clean and wouldn't stop us from returning or recommending to others 😊

A beautiful, clean and comfortable apartment that definately has a cottage feel. Fabulously equipped with everything you would need for a self catering break, although the location is great for restaurants and cafés. John's communication was great and he made us feel so welcome when we arrived. Great location for the lake with a beautiful view of the Mountains.

A fabulous stay.

The property was warm and cosy. There wasn't anything that John, the host, hadn't got covered. Everything you could need was provided. I went alone but there was room for more. Being able to visit the leisure club was an added bonus. Close to shops and walks but nestled away on a quiet street.

Fantastic location, a loved home perfect for our travels.

We were met on arrival and assisted with parking of our large vehicle. the location was perfect for Windermere and such a pretty village. the flat was warm and comfortable, it was absolutely perfect for us.

Spacious property in a great location. Good value for money

The space is a really good size especially if you are 2 or 3 people and the value for money was great especially considering you can use the health club spa that’s a 5min drive away. The property is in a good location close to shops, places to eat and bars and very close to lake Windermere itself. The host is lovely and very helpful

John met us and helped us get up to the flat. He was very kind and helpful both as we arrived and departed. Lovely host!

I hadn't realised that there were two flights of stairs to the apartment. I was travelling with a 90-year-old so should have checked.

Lovely, relaxed, homely feel and we had a fantastic holiday, thanks. John was a great host. Amazing weather helped, too. Fantastic location. Spacious flat and very comfy sofas/chairs with lot of the latest movies available to watch. Also, books, games, DVDs. Loads of towels/towels etc, and plenty of soap/washing up liquid/dishwasher tabs/toilet roll etc. Kitchen well equipped. Felt a safe area and the car park is gated. The gym and pool access was a super added bonus. Lovely little gym with great facilities :-) We didn't have a dog, but it is great they are welcome at no extra cost. Also, I could see or smell no evidence any dogs have been there, no doggy smells or hair. Very good value for money and we would definitely recommend, and we hope to return ourselves.

We did not, not like anything; overall, felt it was a fabulous place and very good value for money. Another set of keys (to the flat and building) would have been really useful (or a key safe outside). Sometimes we did different things and were left hanging outside waiting for the person with the keys (in fairness, we didn't ask if another set was a possibility, and I can see routinely giving multiple sets of keys has more risk of getting lost). Also, some lamps in the lounge/dining area would add to the coziness. Saying that, loads is provided, for example fans, cushions and blankets. I'm just a fan of lamps rather than the 'big lights'. Thanks, we hope to come back soon :-)

Great Location, Lovely Host, and Ideal for Families

We had a lovely stay in Windermere! The location is perfect — close to shops and the park, which was ideal for walking the dog. Having private parking made a big difference, and the access to the pool was a great bonus, especially with kids. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. John was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely come back!

Large quiet 2nd floor appartment. Well equiped kitchen with tea pot. Good wifi and TV. Easy to use washing machine. Good water pressure/hot water. Twin beds a bit soft to our liking. Parking OK Well located in Windermere. Would go back if we visited again

Absolutely amazing .. cute Charming place.. went with 4 kids.. 2,4,6,10 years.. and they loved it.. home from home in a way.. John the host was lovely.. looks dated but fits in with the charm of lakes.. kitchen was amazingly well equipped with buses 2 min walk and Sainsbury’s round the corner..

spacious (3 bedrooms for up to 6 persons plus 1 infant), large lounge, dining area, nice & clean, very well equipped (kitchen with washing machine, fridge/freezer, dish washer, toaster, oven, kettle, etc; living room with SKY pay TV, DVD player incl large selection and range of DVDs, but also card/board games, wide range of books, etc), secure parking (locked gate, sheltered parking); location: very central (less than 5 min walk away from town centre) but very quiet at night (side street, no traffic, no drunks); amazing value for money; and above all - very friendly, supportive, caring host, John, who excels at doing everything in his power to make his guests welcome & comfortable.

Everything was wonderful!

John, the owner, was very kind and available when we needed him. The house is really big and it has everything you may possibly need for your stay. The place was also clean and close to many shops, restaurants, and other fabulous villages! We are a couple with four small children and we definitely felt at home!
