Excellent place for family

The cottage is just an 8-minute walk from Windermere Station and the town centre, located right behind St Mary’s Church in a very convenient spot. It’s only a 3-minute walk to the nearest bus stop, with routes including the 599, 505, and 555—offering easy access to Grasmere, Bowness-on-Windermere, Ambleside, and Keswick. The property is clean and quiet, featuring modern facilities including a washer-dryer, which is especially handy.

Loved staying in the house and a great location.

Very clean and well appointed. Excellent location for shops and restaurants. Very well stocked with amenities. Would have gladly stayed longer.

No welcome hamper. Had to hoover up a few spiders.

Good

The location- walking distance to many shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The cottage itself. Fully equipped, clean except most pillows that were smelly that made us gave 7. Beds were comfy.

Near cemetery. Almost all pillows and pillow cases smelt really really bad ( sweaty smell etc) If you are sensitive to noise ( church bell rings every hours in certain times in the morning and evening)

Self catering - excellent 👌

We had a leak from the shower that we noticed landing on the dining table. I rang and was told maintenance would be out very and leave the key in the key box as we were going out. When we returned the shower had been re siliconed. The next day the same thing happened. Again I rang , maintenance came out when we were out and fixed it. Again with silicone. It didn't stop us from having a fab time I was more concerned that it was doing damage to this lovely property.
