Hideaway country cottage near Edinburgh

We strolled up and immediately met our first challenge which was reversing int the driveway but luckily prime Michael Schumacher was at the wheel of the mg we then met another problem and that was that we didn’t have the key code for the lockbox which meant we had to call Alisdair who swiftly replied to us then we got in and explored and we set up a game of giant dominoes while bean went to the doilet little did we know this would be the biggest mistake of our lives Claire was making up the rules to dominoes and then bean reappeared with a glum look on his face he had obviously been up to something and nothing good at that he had absolutely wrecked the toilet and a massive snake sized log was sat at the bottom of the loop it was seized up so all we could do was put bleach in the toilet and then leave and that’s what we did while we went out for some tea which you can read my review about on their page when we returned it was still there lurking in the bog but Keef was desperate for a big shroomy doilet so he had to go on top and so he did leaving flushrooms floating on the top then we sat and potatoed before calling it bedtime where Claire was shocked by a spider so she called in her spider removing slave keef who then also had to tackle the vile job of unblocking the doilet which he did and I won’t go into to much detail but he didn’t come out of that room dry and he certainly wasn’t the same person who went into that room so then we all went to sleep where Claire heard noises and bean was guffing then we all woke up and bean finally had a shower after 5 days of going without one and Claire ate cake and then we all left. 10/10 sorry Alisdair about the doilet

Unique old style property in very quiet location but easy to access Edinburgh.

Driveway has a tight entrance and slope so gravel needs consolidated better to avoid car spinning wheels and digging holes on entrance. A few instructions need updating as they were wrong eg broadband access.
