The place was in a perfect location, was clean and comfortable

We liked that it had laundry and it was walking distance to Tesco and a local pub. It was a quiet area.
The main shower head did not work and the shower enclosure did not work properly so water would get everywhere. The bathroom sink was slow to drain. There were no instructions for the appliances. The back yard was full of high weeds so we could not enjoy the yard.

Only difficulty I faced was finding car parking. It's little challenging to find a car park. As most of the parking around the apt are reserved for permit holders.
Other then that it's all very good.

Comfortable
When arrived the apartment was not clean after previous guests. But after contacting the host the problem was resolved quickly and cleanning feed was refunded on my account

No breakfast included accommodation only but lots of nice cafes nearby with good food reasonably priced
Accommodation was excellent only problem we had was as there were six men and the toilet was in the bathroom if the shower was occupied you could not use the toilet maybe an extra separate toilet would have been ideal but otherwise the accommodation was excellent great facilities lovely and clean .

Bright, airy apartment about a 25min walk to Princess Street
Beds are really uncomfortable and the master bedroom with a double bed has what looks to be a single duvet in a king size cover. doesn’t work!!
The TV signal was horrendous making it impossible to watch.
finally the host sends you about one hundred messages “reminding” you to be out by your 10:00 check-out time or you will be charged. Got a bit annoying

1 good room in front of the backyard but the other is directly on the street with a window with no noise treatment. for this kind of apartments this is not acceptable.

Location is OK.Not too far from the city centre. Big apartment and comfortable for a group.
It would have been easier to know in advance the floor where the apartment was as the apartment number was not clear in the building doors.
Shower half door doesn't work properly and water easily goes out.

Location, kitchen. Tesco down road. Ocean shopping centre close by portabello beach close and Edinburgh centre close. Parking ideal if you can find space alot of road works in surrounding area but none on this road. Heating very good but could do with air ventilation as windows locked shut cannot open at all which begs the question where fly's are coming in from.kichen stocked with tea washer/dryer handy with washing powder supplied.
Dead flies/midges and dead spiders in all rooms windows. Bath tub dead flies everywhere. Owners needs to clean apartment between new customers rentin.. Needs bath mats as it becomes slippy for young children and no hooks in bathroom for clothes/bath robe etc..Water pipes very noisy and took too long to refill cistern kids waking up at night with excessive noise from pipes/toilet/boiler and water in bath took ages to drain otherwise overall satisfied

A specious apartment, conveniently located for Leith, with good access to town and bus stops directly at the front door. The apartment has been completely refurbished with all amenities and can host 6 people comfortably.
Front rooms can get noisy as the apartment is on the ground floor . There are no black-out blinds in the living room which has the sofa bed. On street parking can get full quickly. There could have been duvet covers for the duvets. No recycling facilities in the apartment.

Good location, nice clean apartment smelt lovely upon arrival. Couldn’t get the heating to work, engineer arrived after 10mins and sorted out the issue. Exceptional service thank you

Great layout, very clean
The hob was a bit of a challenge, struggled to it on and off and find the optimum heat. The heating was set on manual at 9 degrees so it got a bit chilly in the night.

Really clean and spacious. Just across from bus stop so easy access to centre. Easy to park on street. Garden for the dog. Just a really good and convenient family apartment. We will be staying again.

It was clean and spacious, however I wouldn't say it was luxurious.
Having cleaning supplies and towels was a bonus.
There is a very well equipped kitchen.
It is very close to a Tesco and in the opposite direction a Lydl.
There a few bars/pubs in very close walking distance.
There is a bus stop on both sides of the road very close to the flat which made travelling around a little easier as car parking in Edinburgh is very expensive
The front door was almost impossible to get into, we were lucky a local gentleman came by and asked us if we were ok as he could see were struggling, he managed eventually to get the door open for us all in all it probably took us about 20 minutes to get in.
There should be a contact telephone number for emergencies as we could then have phoned for help when we couldn't get in the front door, there was no use in emailing as it was late on Sunday evening and the communication was only in office hours.
When we did get in the front door the undecorated entrance hall was dark and smelly but fortunately the flat itself was nice.
The location was very grim and although there is free parking right out side I was a little worried about leaving our car out there.
There were no numbers on the doors of the flats and we didn't know what flat was ours. The chub lock to the flat was a bit stiff so we thought we were trying the wrong door at first.

The inside the unit was nicely renovated. It was clean and the beds were comfy. The bus stop was just outside the building and grocery store was nearby.
We didn't feel comfortable staying at this neighbourhood with our children. Also, the apartment itself seemed a little rough and the main door was really hard to unlock with the key. There were free parking spots available outside the apartment but we didn't feel comfortable leaving the car there and used pay parking. I think I should have checked the neighbourhood before booked.

The flat is marketed as a luxury apartment but this is not the impression you get when entering from Easter Road. The outer door to the block is in a bad state compared to neighbouring doors and you enter a damp, dark, musty smelling undecorated shared access area. However the flat itself is nice and has been done up quite well. Although on the ground floor there is no access to the back garden but the windows can be opened for ventilation with some force. The bathroom is great also with a window which can be opened for ventilation.
The shared access area is horrible. It is clear the Quirky apartment company purchased a run down flat in this run down block and has invested in doing it up for holiday rental purposes. It is too far from the city centre (45 minute walk) but travel through Edinburgh's busy streets by car is a problem due to the many roadworks under way for introduction of a tram system. Parking fees at the NCP car park by the Castle is daylight robbery. We paid £14 for a couple of hours!

3 key boxes was confusing, no door number all made getting in a bit stressful, needs a bottle opener.

The property was good in terms of it met our accommodation needs, clean, comfortable and pet friendly. Would not describe as luxury. The apartment had what was needed and some extras. The level of sound from road side location was busy, but traffic had been diverted that way due to major road works. Entrance less than impressive, and we had booked an early check in which even if had went to their plan is not worth the £30 for an hour earlier..: we had asked for 12.30 check in rather than 3pm. Location means quite a walk to city centre ... used quite a few ubers over our weekend .:. Would need to value this in the overall package. It is only a short walk from large links grass area so convenient for dog exercise between activities, access to garden benefit for early morning and night time dog relief! Over all 3/5 would be fair. Having stayed in Edinburgh in numerous locations and facilities for last 30+ years can say I am fair judge.

The beds & linen were very Good. Tea & coffee etc was a nice touch. Treated very efficiently when there was a leak and we lost power. We had to move though
We didn't feel safe as the actual building was not locked, horrible with broken windows. Mould, bathroom door didn't close........

بكل أسف لم نستطيع الإستحمام وذلك لامتلاء حوض السباحة البانيوم بالمياه بسبب إنسداد أنابيب المجاري وإرتفاع منسوب المياه إلى مستوى عالي في البانيوم أما بالنسبة لمروحة شفط الهواء في دورة المياه فكانت لاتعمل إطلاقا علما بأننا قمنا بإخطارهم بذلك
مجمع سخان الماء مكانه في غرفة النوم الرئيسية حيث سبب لنا بعض الإزعاج وذلك بسبب الصوت الذي يصدر أثناء إستخدام الماء
