Just the vibe, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, felt like we were in another country gave us a chance to really wind down and relax, meals were great, accommodation was decent and the people were friendly and welcoming definitely have to book again and stay abit longer
Not much,it is an old town so don't expect 5star accommodation but met our needs just fine if I could pin point one thing it was probably the seagulls chasing us for our sandwiches during the day😂😂

Quant, beautiful surroundings plenty of food options.
What I really enjoyed is the simplicity of checking in, friendly staff and the locals make the stay a very memorable experience
🤔 nothing actually
I’ll be returning to far north for another adventure

No fuss. Historic hotel right on the water in quaint, historic Mangonui. Stunning views of the harbour from the balcony. Expected the eccentricities of a building of this age, and while the room did not have a private ensuite, it was right across the hall. The rooms were clean, the furniture and furnishings adequate, the linen clean and the tv with Netflix.

Classic old hotel! Old and dated with a lovely heritage vibe. Staff are awesome. Bed was very comfortable. Great view and location.
Was quite noisey with the pub below being open until 1am.
