Beautiful location overlooking the water and tucked in a quiet road.

Good for 1 night stop on way to somewhere like bay of islands or the cape

It was a basic but clean room and met our needs. VFM was ok but we stayed in Sanctuary Palms in Paihia fir the next 4 nights for just a few more pounds and that was super exceptional.

Lovely views, walking distance to the village shops and cafes. Close to everything, very nice staff who were helpful and gave us what we needed. We had a big family staying in the family rooms and we had enough space for everyone.

Good sized rooms, clean and tidy unit. Kids swam in the pool which has a shallow end for younger kids.

We only stayed for one night and unfortunately the power cut out (I think to the whole area) which meant we couldn't shower or use any electricity get ready.

Being able to access a ground floor room was a great advantage for us. The room was fresh, clean and tidy. The staff were very accommodating with our request.

It would be beneficial if the small fridge was a little higher off the floor for easier access to those older customers. The bed was very warm and comfortable but found it a bit bouncy when the other partner moved.

Not nice, will never come back here

Didn't really like anything about this place, traveling on a holiday weekend it was the only option left to book, soon found out why

Bedroom/bed on back wall smelt dreadful with damp/mould/mildew, so bad that my son refused to sleep in the bed. The shower is a hovel, as is the toilet, broken fixtures, and a toilet that stunk of stale urine, worse than any public toilet you've smelt. Waking in the morning, the stench of urine had permeated the whole unit, packed up and got out as fast as we could, too scared to even use the water or kitchen facilities. One of those places that you wouldn't dare walk around barefoot or even with socks on, especially not the bathroom areas. Don't be fooled by the nice looking exterior, book elsewhere. The only nice thing inside is the carpet that looked relatively new. Other thing to note, is the severe lack of outlet plugs for charging phones etc. Way over priced for what it is

Quiet location. Our room got upgraded to a view free of charge which was very kind. Provided with towels for the pool free of charge. Had a heated pool, good place for family with kids.
