It's close proximity to town.

Firstly, the communication with the host was horrendous. Leading up to our stay, there were a number of questions I asked that I got no reply to. When we checked in, we found that the Internet connection was unusable. I called for help and messaged them three times and go no reply or help with the Internet so we had to pay for our own mobile Internet the whole time we stayed there. You need a masters degree to work out the hot water system and getting the radiators to come on was painful. The instructions left on site didn't match the current hot water system and need to be updated. There weren't enough of the basic things like there was only one bin bag provided, hardly any toilet paper and only one tea towel. When I messaged to ask where they kept the bin bags, they replied "we only supply one per stay". There were 7 of us staying in this house for over a week. So we had to buy our own consumables. The carpet throughout this place is grotty. The whole place is tired and grotty and the garden was awful. The garden was full of weeds, the grass was over a foot tall and was only cleaned up the day before we left and the fence had fallen over. There were cigarette butts all over the paved area and the washing line was broken. A number of the kitchen utensils had been returned to the draw without being washed. The walls were dirty and the brown cracking ceiling in the hallway looked like it was about to fall in due to long-term water damage from the bathroom above. For a house that supposedly accommodates 8, it only one small couch, one small chair and two short benches at a very small table.

Could do with more seating.

The price was great, and it was clean/tidy with a driveway for parking. The area is quiet and not too far from attractions by car. The house/garden was spacious and the kids enjoyed the space to play.

There were some small issues...The outside bin was full when we came. The shower hose was partly broken - we managed to shower but it was a little difficult. The hoover did not have great suction. I think they ought to improve the general maintenance to ensure everything is in good order before guests come.

Easy to find, quiet but safe location on a residential street. Parking!! The kids felt right at home and didn’t want to go home. Had a good comfortable nights sleep as did the kids including the baby. Although we didn’t use the kitchen it was well stocked with everything and clean. Garden well kept. Lovely place to stay will definitely go back for a longer stay. Pet friendly too.

NOT THE ACTUALLY PROPERTY ……..The outside bin was really smelly as if it hadn’t been emptied (by the local council not host) which could be smelt the second we got out the car.

Good value, good location and close to local amenities. Fairly clean and plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen.

Nothing major although would be great if there were additional kitchen towels (maybe one extra)
