Maison de ville Bayeux

Klimatyczne mieszkanie w sercu Bayeux. Poza brakiem klimatyzacji, a było gorąco, wszystko było ok. Jedna uwaga - nie ma tv (nam to nie przeszkadzało)

Brak szafy w jednej z sypialń, w której można byłoby powiesić ubrania. Wąskie schody, trudno wnieść dużą walizkę.

A beautifully restored apartment in a restaurant shop district. Great location. Host was attentive and helpful. Would have loved to have stayed longer!

For some, the entrance stairway may be difficult. Fine for us but a bit challenging

Amazing, clean and fully equipped place with a great location and vibe. This beautiful central apartment sits on the main street, steps away from the best shops, bakeries, restaurants and all what the city offers.

Stairs add a great atmosphere to the apartment, but they are quite narrow and it is challenging to carry luggage upstairs and downstairs. We left the car in a free zone 5-10 minutes walking distance from the appartment, no issue for us. You can find paid parking just around the corner.

Pros: The location can’t be beat. Interior decor is great.

Cons: If you are not slim, this is not the home for you. The entry and stairs are exceptionally narrow. A plus size person could not fit. The shower sprayer has no attachment so it just lays on the floor, and you must hold it the entirety of the shower. We visited in November and despite freezing temps, all of the here’s were off. We had to turn them on and wait for the place to heat up. —it never did. The beds had no top sheet - just a fitted sheet and a comforter. No blankets supplied so we were absolutely miserably cold. Filthy towels in the kitchen to dry your hands (they literally looked like someone used it to scrub a floor). Used sponge to wash dishes. The kitchen doesn’t have any drawers for utensils, and when I asked the host where to find them, his response back just asked if I was serious (come on - you are hosting international guests - don’t be a jerk). For whomever needs to know, there are drawers in the table (I’d never seen that before). The silverware are in one of the drawers, but are just thrown in - no organizer, just a mass of utensils.
