Yamaguchi House,Historic Private House with Open-Air Hot springs

Entire stay was excellent! House is spacious and beautiful, a traditional atmosphere with enough space for everyone to have privacy. Instructions for check-in and using appliances were detailed, straightforward, and well organized. Location is great: quiet neighbourhood away from popular hubs, but only across the street from the station with trains every ~15 mins. We also purchased the private chef service and cannot say enough good things about it - we absolutely recommend the traditional "fermented vegetable" course meal (and breakfast too)!!

The laundry machine (both washer/dryer) doesn't will not open if your clothes are damp. We did 1 load of laundry but it took several dryer cycles before the machine would open and we could retrieve our clothes (still damp). This was likely user error, but caution when putting too many clothes in the machine as they may not dry enough for you to be able to get them back immediately!

Specielt og flot hus. Onsenbadene i og udenfor huset var virkelig et plus. Tog og bus lige uden for døren

La cuisine n’est pas une vraie cuisine, manque d'équipement et d'espace, très difficile d'y cuisiner alors qu’il est aussi très difficile de trouver un restaurant disponible aux alentours. Forte odeur d'humidité dans la maison
