The staff here went above and beyond. They originally had told me that breakfast would not be able to accomodate gluten-free diet, but when I arrived they had a surprise gluten free personal breakfast they had gotten for me! The staff here have amazing hospitality and the accomodations are very peaceful and calm.
Not a lot of restauraunts nearby, so would recommend bringing something withi you at the end of the day.

Incredible escape from the business of Japan, so unique
Not easy to get to from bus routes, we had to bring our suitcases up and down a narrow path to get there

Everything! Beautiful hotel from communal areas to the Japanese rooms, a lovely breakfast and a very peaceful onsen. The staff were also incredibly helpful.

Nice view from the room, hot springs very hot and everything spotlessly clean. Very relaxing ambience.
No services as such, no onsite bar or restaurant, just tea in Your room. No bars or restaurants nearby you have to get a train a few stops, and walk down/up a dark bend in the road to get to the station. The offering is more like a motel than hotel. Make your own futon up, a ‘free breakfast’ is offered by very basic, you can however bring your own… great if your a backpacker I’d imagine but charging hotel prices.
