Nice to experience Japanese style accommodation
Whilst nice to experience Japanese style accommodation the room was small for family of 4 and had afew aches when I woke up from harder mattress. My husband and son enjoyed the onsen area.

Onsen was private on an enclosed outside balcony. Very private with shower facilities also private for onsen. Dinner was prepared/ served in the room and quite traditional. Plenty of variety. Breakfast had many fish items which not used to and would have liked some fresh fruit but perhaps not traditional Japanese fare.

Excellent. We enjoyed our stay there immensely. The public baths are awesome. The nature is beautiful. Staff are very welcoming and accommodating. We hope to be back someday. Food is great too. Visit the Hakone Open-Air museum... That is mind-blowing :) and after that relax in Senkei :)

Authentic Japenese experience. Food in such an original format was a first time experience some unusual dishes for our Irish taste buds.
The breakfast was not to our westernised taste but service and atention to detail when serving was exceptional
