Lovely place in good location - would stay again

It was clean modern and comfortable

It was difficult to open the lock box. Also the door was very stiff to lock. Lastly there should have been more instruction about the location for the switches for the cooker in the house manual

This was the perfect stay for us, two couples. The house is very spacious and comfortable.

The location is perfect, walking distance to the local pub, cafe and mere. Also the long walk to Aldeburgh is great

The kitchen needs to have plates, bowls and mugs replenished. The house can have six guests but the dinning table and garden table only have four chairs.

Modern town house in a great location

Easy access to the beach and The Dolphin gastro pub. Good parking in a private development. High-end, modern appliances with supplies, e.g. dishwasher tablets, washing machine detergent. Unlimited "instant" hot water. Good quality furnishings. Excellent BT wifi. Nice patio area at the rear with table and chairs.

The blinds in the bedroom bang against the window frame when it is slightly windy. Fixing this and putting fans in the bedrooms would make for a better night's sleep. Also putting draught excluder strips on the bedroom doors would avoid them banging when you close them (this is cheap and easy to do.) Our bedroom door (on the top floor) didn't close, which would have meant a lack of privacy if it wasn't just me and my girlfriend staying in the place.

Was in a great location, very short walk to the Meare , the beach and pubs. Very modern and clean and well equipped

Superb

Clean. Very well equipped. Complete kitchen with dish washer, toaster, etc…. Near to the beach. Only 10 min by car to Tesco or other supermarkets.

We had a lot of rain and the road was completely flooded one day. It was not possible for some hours to leave the parking.

Fantastic long weekend

The property itself was very comfortable and clean. Location was excellent, plenty to do and experience in Thorpeness and surrounding areas. The area felt very safe and family friendly, great cycle routes.

Although the double beds were very comfortable, the same could not be said for the single beds as they did not have mattress toppers and the mattress was only covered with a sheet! The window catches were also very stiff and made it hard to open the windows.

Scammer! It'll trap your money. Faulty Property. No refund (Nightmare Holiday)

I took a holiday with my family and two kids. There was NO HOT WATER at the check in time. The property management was solved nothing also asked us to stay in the faulty property. We were unable to stay without hot water at below freezing temperatures. We asked for alternative properties, but none were offered. We decided to vacate the property because we have kids. I did not unpack my stuff, and all of it was still in my car. We did not stay there even one night. We drove home that night (around 150 miles). Sadly, there is No Refund! They've taken full charge, like a scammer did. We raised the issue with Booking.com, we expect to solve this issue as it becomes public on their website. About 3 weeks process, they decided to gave us 15% refund (There is not even worth of the Fuel for this travel.)

very close to beach & a lovely pub opposite

it could have been a little better equipped as with a dishwasher we needed more mugs, crockery, cutlery etc plus a measuring jug would be useful, Also a welcome pack would be a kind gesture.

very clean, light and nicely decorated - lovely artwork. great appliances and very comfortable living room chairs. lovely back yard for outdoor dining.

maybe fix the issue with the front door. it was totally fine once you got used to it.

Thorpeness Holiday home

Great location with easy parking. Easy walk to the sea, the Dolphin and the Meare. 2 bathrooms plus another loo. Crazy golf at Thorpeness Golf Club great fun.

Swimming, the beach is very stony so need shoes. Also waves are quite big which I love but perhaps not for little children. Being charged £25 for 15.00 check in.

The accommodation was excellent well equipped, lovely comfortable beds, spacious rooms, Comfortable furnishings and well appointed bathrooms.

Very nice, peaceful location. Nice property with good facilities. Disappointed with owners attitude.

Hosts attitude re. arrival and departure was very strict and inflexible. People go on holiday not to be told to arrive no earlier than 5pm and leave no later than 10am. Also we were charged about £80 for cleaning and then told to remove bedding sheets, empty dustbins etc. External doors were very difficult to open and close.
