location was perfect, very easy to get to everything and very central. Garden was lovely too. Loved the fact there was a BBQ.

The beds were quite short, around 5ft10 I think. I wouldn't have minded this if the matress was higher than the footboard at the end of the bed, but it wasn't so I kept kicking it and waking up. A couple of my group were very tall so this was an issue, but most people should be fine.

A home from home in a perfect location.

Beautiful, extremely well-kept property with everything you need for a home from home. The living room was so cosy and comfy, and the kitchen was amazing - dishwasher tabs, cloths and fairy liquid all provided. Bedrooms were lovely, with comfy beds and nice quality bedding. Bathrooms were immaculate and towels provided. Perfect location too - the boating lake is literally opposite, and it's a 5 minute stroll to the beach. We had a wonderful stay and the children loved the place too. Hands down the cleanest, tidiest and most gorgeous-smelling cottage we have ever stayed in!

Modern,well furnished house. Bathrooms were clean and modern. Lounge area was cosy. Close to the beach.

Ceiling height may be an issue for very tall people on the ground floor but they were not a problem for us of average height.

Quirky quite village with a cosy cottage

Stayed with friends, location was perfect, the cottage was modern, comfortable very clean and cosy. Ceilings were low but hey it’s a cottage… hubby had to take care at 6.3. All in all we all enjoyed our stay.

When advertising need to make people aware that anyone over 6ft tall will have to stoop for the whole stay. Very Very low ceilings and then add in smoke alarms. Need to purchase new pilows .

The perfect place for a quiet family holiday by the seaside.

Super clean, fairly spacious, great facilities (washing machine, dishwasher, etc) amazing location for families (café, Lake, beach, pub are all within 5 minute walk even with kids), loads of parking space for cars,... I could go on!

Not a lot of storage for clothes, the ceileing on the ground floor is a bit low as advertised but none of the guests banged their head :)

Great location, property size and quality. Very comfortable. Perfect for 5 people.

Bedroom windows were low down, but did not have child locks so you couldn’t open them without them being a hazard for kids. Very easy to fall out if they were open.

Excellent and great weather was a big bonus.

Everything basically. Could not have suited our needs better. Well furnished and comfy all round. Kitchen excellent and property was spacious. It was our daughters wedding so we had lots of visitors, together with family in at one time and everyone loved the property. We booked with Aldeburgh coastal cottages who I would definitely deal with again. They were very helpful and friendly in every respect.

Ceiling height is low so you have to watch this if you're over 6 foot, but you soon get used to it. This is more about the character of the property rather than a complaint. A coffee machine or cafetiere is the only item missing from the kitchen otherwise well stocked for everyday use.
