Home from home comfort! Snug and warm. Clean and pleasant.

Nothing to not like although the stairs were a little bit steep for my elderly parents. They are both in their late eighties but they managed them and enjoyed the stay very much.

Well appointed house in and an excellent area

We had an excellent short winter weekend break with the family. The house was spotlessly clean, has everything you need for your stay, comfortable bedrooms and lounge, kitchen has all the appliances you need plus large fridge with freezer. Bathroom with large shower plus bath plus the double bedroom has an on suite with a cute porthole window. Outside to the front you can park 1 or 2 cars off road on the driveway plus, to the rear I think you probably can also park as there’s a track running around to the back of the property. Good garden if staying in the warmer months. There was also kitchen washing cloths, washing liquid, dish washer tabs, tea towels and toilet rolls. Communication was excellent, we had a problem with the underfloor heating in the kitchen not working, one email was addressed in seconds and the maintenance person arrived in 15mins max, fixed the issue which was just low batteries in the thermostats, so top service. Location is great for walking out from Thorpeness, plenty of tracks and the sea is just a short walk. The Dolphin pub is worth a visit but may be best to book a table in advance if eating in the evening, food was very fresh and for the quality good value for money. The Emporium is also worth a visit for a snack and warming drink, plus you can look around the antiques afterwards if into that stuff.

Perfect.

Nothing only fault was the local council hadn't emptied the food waste bin so was full and smelt .we had to remove to the back of the property as it attracted the flies and was under the bed room window..minor problem.would stay again and would reccomend. Many thanks Christine Russell.
