A very convenient and comfortable lication for a family get together.

The location is dipetb with eady access to the beach, the tennis courts, the lawn, the mere ,the cafe and the pub

The television didn't seem to work but as we had good weather it wasn't a big issue.

Expensive and tired

Large light sitting room

Extremely expensive for a down at heel place. Very tired. Poor bathroom fittings. Large stain on worn carpet in main bedroom. Uncomfortable pillows. For the price I would expect much higher quality in every aspect.

eventful but peaceful stay even in moderate weather

near sea front and design of bedrooms on bottom floor was suitable for our party. one of us lives with dementia and to escape downstairs for peace and quiet with en suite was helpful

water heating system led to us having a few cool showers and needed boosting a lot. it’s not that we couldn’t boost it just that we forgot and then realised we couldn’t shower more than 2 of us until it had reheated

Centrally located cottage in Thorpeness. Good base for exploring the Suffolk coast.

Location in Thorpeness, half way between Southwold and Sutton Hoo that we were visiting, and a walk from Aldeburgh. complementary nibbles and wine - very thoughtful. Phonecall to say it was ready before the checking in time in case we wanted to get there early.

Cottage was a little cramped downstairs (bedrooms) compared to living, dining, kitchen space upstairs. Feels/looks like it needs a bit of modernisation.

We loved thorpeness but will not be using this accommodation again

The location

The property is tired and really quite dirty in places Grease on the kitchen cupboards, cobwebs, dust, dirty skirting boards and seals in toilets and bathrooms, an unwelcoming smell as you go up the stairs. The oven didn’t seem to heat up so we gave up and the food particles in the bottom and grease on the sides were quite unsavoury, the shower doesn’t drain properly, we couldn’t get the dvd player to work, the tumble drier seems like a massive fire hazard. I have two holiday properties and wouldn’t let them get in this condition particularly at this nightly rate.

Great base for the beach, pub and great walking.

Great location, 2 mins walk from beach. Warm and cosy with very well equipped kitchen.

Bathrooms perfectly ok but only handheld shower in one bathroom.

A wonderful relaxing few days in very comfortable surrounding.

The location which was quiet when we stayed there and easy to get to other places around either walking or by car. A stone's throw from the beach. Everything covered in the accommodation including a welcome pack.
