We thought the location and cottage were amazing. Such lovely views. Beds were very comfortable and the log fire lovely and cosy. All the facilities were excellent
One small thing is that the filtered water tap runs extremely slow

Great Location right on the Sailors path. Spacious accommodation, full of character and well equipped.
Plenty of outdoor seating options, including views to the marshes. Enjoyed the sun room during the day with its lovely natural light.
The only downside really was the dog next door barking for a full hour or more each afternoon 4 - 5 pm which rather spoilt the peace and quiet.

The walk from the cottage, it's spaciousness and kitchen facilities
Was expecting more of a marsh view from the name and photos. I wish we'd known it was through the smallest bedroom only and across another property's garden so wouldn't have been disappointed.

Everything, we booked this the day before we stayed and it couldn't have been more perfect. The area , walks , views and bird life are fantastic. The cottage is like a home from home and has everything you need. We wish we had booked for a week and would love to come back another time .
It was all great

Had a fantastic stay here. The cottage was a cosy home from home. Everything you need is provided and more besides.
The views and location are wonderful, Overlooking Hazlewood Marsh. Birds and wildlife aplenty.
Very close to Aldeburgh and Thorpeness.

On the edge of the marshes with great views. Lot of outside space thoughtfully organised. Well appointed. Great walk to Snape Maltings began immediately outside the property. Good bird hide close by.
Everything was fine and would have liked to stay longer!

The views and walks that are on the doorstep are fantastic and lots of places very near to visit. A great garden to relax in and spotlessly clean.
Being woke up every morning at 6am by the neighbours dog barking outside in the garden.

Good location for the attractions of the Suffolk coast line. Well equipped for the most part. Good shower and plenty of hot water.
The property could do with some fans at this time of year as the upstairs is quite small. The upstairs toilet doesn’t have any hot water. The conservatory door could do with a fly screen as they were a constant annoyance throughout our stay. The double bed in the second bedroom is hardly that, our daughter and her partner stayed for one night and found it very cramped and they are not large people. My wife had to speak to the neighbours about Norman the dog who is mentioned in the visitors book as barking continuously from 0600. After she’d had a word, we hardly heard from him again. Maybe something could have been said after seeing the comments in the book. No welcome pack of any description which we thought was poor service considering how much the property is to rent.

Great location; pretty, well-equiped cottage with comfy beds.
I appreciate that this is a dog friendly cottage, but a little warning as to just how many dogs stay would be useful; my 10-year old (who has a mild pet-hair allergy which is generally fine with a dose of antihistamine) spent a day in Ipswich A&E with breathing difficulties, and he and my wife had to check into a different property for one of our two nights. I don't think the living room has been vacuumed (properly) for years; the dog hairs are *everywhere*!

Great cottage in a peaceful location, really feels like a home. It feels like you start to unwind as soon as you arrive.
Rooms are a nice size and it’s lovely to have dining room too.
View from the rear bedroom across the marsh is fantastic.
Garden is great for sunny days too.
Great location for walks, fresh air and wildlife.
Good communication prior to arrival and directions to the cottage.
We loved our stay!
There was nothing we disliked

The location was wonderful. We loved watching the tide come in over the mud flats and then retreating again. Loads of seabirds. Great walk from the property to a bird hide. Lovely to see a mermeration over the fields. Property was very well equipped and warm, which was great as we hit a cold spell.
Nothing. Excellent place if you want peace and quiet and nature - we loved it.

Very comfortable beds with good quality linen. Cozy sitting room with log fire. Spacious bathroom with generous towel provision. Thoughtful and generous provision of shampoo etc. Neat and tidy garden with excellent parking provision. Very clean and well presented.
Domestic hot water supply was barely a trickle and needs boosting. Although not the fault of the owners the barking of the neighbours dog was intrusive especially at 5 am every day of the stay.

Lovely cosy cottage in tranquil location, with beautiful views just feet away from the sailors path , Fully equipt kitchen for all your cooking needs, nice sized garden . Nice and clean.
Low pressure on all water but the properties water is from a well that is filtered.
A nice gesture would have been a welcome pack tea/ coffee long life milk and some mini shampoo and shower gel .

Just wow. Marsh View is a lovely cottage in a simply stunning, tranquil location. It is spacious, comfortable and well equipped, with a gorgeous garden and loads of sitting out space. Ample parking just outside, and good walks from the doorstep. There was even a guitar (in tune, as well!). Close to Aldeburgh and Snape, and good access to the Suffolk coast.
Nothing at all. It was pretty much perfect

Nice garden and new patio, wood burner which unfortunately we had to use one night because the weather was so bad! Well equipped, especially the kitchen and clean and tidy
Duvet too heavy, marsh view now obscured by neighbour's extension and only view of marsh from house was upstairs bedroom. Shame the fridge door was broken so not possible to store milk upright

A bath would have been nice after our king walks.

Beautiful location near marshland, popular walks and within easy reach of town and the local shops and eateries.
The property is kept very clean and has a lovely homely feel. Richard the owner texted all relevant information and kept us updated with directions and how to access the cottage.
Lovely spot for nature watching and due to low light pollution we found star gazing was magnificent on clear evenings.
Everything we needed for our 3 night stay was provided. The shower is great with plenty of water pressure. The towels are lovely and fluffy and there are even towels provided for your 4 legged friend in a basket by the entrance door.
We didn't find anything to dislike. Just bring a few stock items and your preferred tipple for those nights you wish for a quiet night in by the light of the log burner or lazing in the more than ample outdoor space.

The cottage is in a superb location with walks from the door. It was a clean, cosy ,warm cottage with everything you needed for a relaxing stay, the enclosed garden was a big bonus for the dog.
We had a hard time getting comfy in the double bed, but that is probably because we are used to a king size bed.
