Right by the side of the road, no natural light in the room unless you want people who walk by the side of the road to look straight into the room. Some facilities were outdated.

UNCOMFORTABLE

The apartment is in a very good location and clean.

On entering the building we were greeted with a very musty smell. We then made our way up two flights of a very narrow, shabby winding staircase. We had fairly heavy suitcases and my companion was not the youngest, so this was quite an effort. Inside the apartment - the beds are on an upper floor, which meant more steep, narrow stairs. The bathroom is on the lower floor so treking up and down those in the night required care. The bathroom door has no lock and doesn't close properly. There are no windows and no extractor fan. There was very little ventilation over all as there are 2 velux (skylight windows in the upper floor and a small window in the kitchen that opens out onto a small atrium of other apartments. Other than that, no natural light. The bedroom door didn't shut properly, there are no bedside lights to speak of (2 battery operated things that only serve to help you not trip over in the gloom). You certainly couldn't read by them. Also, it happened to be very hot at the time and other accommodations supplied a sheet, as well as a quilt if needed. There was no sheet, so it was sleep with nothing or roast under a quilt. If you put on the fan on the mezannine, where the 2nd double bed is, the main bedroom door would not keep shut. The airconditioner (I use that term loosly) is a unit in the bedroom that, when on sleep mode, speeds up and slows down constantly, so it is impossible to sleep with it on. Lastly and MOST importantly, the door to the apartment cannot be locked without a key, though there is a latch which can be used. If you want to lock the door, this means you need a key to open it, which I am sure is against FIRE REGULATIONS. Well, it is in the UK. I would not recommend this place at all & Booking.com should not have it on their website.

Il n’y a pas 2 « vraies » chambres comme indiqué dans l’annonce mais 1 chambre séparée et 1 pièce en mezzanine avec un lit qui donne sur le salon. Dès que nous nous levions, les enfants étaient donc réveillés aussi. Appartement sous les toits avec uniquement des velus que nous devions laisser fermer à cause de la chaleur donc un peu sombre. Il faisait très chaud car sous les toits, heureusement climatiseurs mis à disposition pour refroidir un peu Escalier pour accéder aux chambres qui est raide donc inadapté aux jeunes enfants ou personnes âgées
