Great place for the family get away

Absolutely Horrible Stay – Unhygienic and Unsafe

Nothing

it was, without exaggeration, a terrible experience. The apartment looked nothing like what we expected or saw online. It was dirty, old, and clearly not maintained at all. There was visible mold in several places (see attached photos), and the entire place felt neglected and unclean. The worst part came in the early morning hours when we discovered cockroaches crawling everywhere in the apartment. That was the final straw. We got dressed immediately and left the place. The price for this apartment was absolutely unreasonable given its condition – it’s nowhere near the standard anyone should accept when renting a place to stay. In fact, I strongly believe this place should be inspected by health authorities, as it's clearly not safe or hygienic for guests. Even worse, after we left, the owner had the audacity to send us a message asking for a 10/10 rating. That request was completely out of touch with reality and, frankly, quite shocking. I can only assume this is how some properties maintain misleading ratings — by pressuring guests who are too polite to leave negative feedback. As a result, others are misled by an undeservedly high score and end up facing the same kind of disappointment we did. This experience ruined a part of our trip. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone under any circumstance. Avoid it.

Bed was clean. Bathroom is clean.

It is a shed in someone's back garden. No privacy. No curtains. Looks out on home owner's bins. Not at all like description. Private entrance is not real it is literally the main entrance into the household. Boiling hot with no curtains to screen out sun or home owner's children playing around. Area is semi rural next to a building site. Pool is overgrown and full of discarded toys. Back yard is strewn with discarded items. I don't mind if people are honest in description and explain what the issues are - I expect the price to reflect this. Then I can feel okay because I chose it. But this description is deliberately misleading. I don't know who left the glowing reviews but I find them questionable. I have taken many photos. Judge for yourself. Weirdly the bedside lamps in the room have coloured lights. So you can't really read by the bed. I had a shower. Water was hot. Shower clean. But the shower head does not stay up. You have to hand hold it.

Confort et tranquillité

Maisonnette très propre, neuve, et déco jolie. Les hôtes sont très réactifs par message. Café et thé étaient à disposition. Le lit 2 places était très confortable. Le chauffage et couette à disposition donc pas froid en ce mois de septembre. Tout était fonctionnel et facile d’accès. Merci aux hôtes.

Je ne recommande pas ou juste pour une nuit.

L’appartement etait sympa et propre pour 1ou2 nuits max. Notre hôte agréable mais les infrastructures pas top. La piscine laissait vraiment à désirer niveau propreté dommage car elle est grande.(des traces verdâtres partout au fond) L’entrée de la cour pas entretenue ,un vieux barbecue qui ne donne pas du tt envie ,des poubelles trop exposées juste en face du logement (les odeurs)

Tt ce que je viens de décrire plus haut Des poules en liberté très sympathiques de surcroît mais qui viennent prendre la nourriture jusque sur la table dehors. Nous avons marché sur des fientes de poule d’ailleurs j’ai prévenu notre hôte Car nous avons sali l’entrée juste avant de partir Le portique avec balançoires hors usage (donc interdit de l’utiliser)

Séjour agréable, emplacement idéale pour notre festival Lemon Swing à Vouneuil-sous-Biard

Nous avons apprécié le livret d’accueil, la qualité de l’accueil, le calme, le mobilier extérieur qui nous a permis de prendre des repas à l’extérieur, la situation géographique, la qualité de la literie et l’équipement.

Isolation phonique entre les logements mauvaise même avec des voisins calmes (porte qui grince). De la poussière en quantité à l’arrière d’un meuble du séjour éloigné du mur et les joints de la cabine de douche noircis. Les poules en liberté ne nous gênent pas, sauf pendant les repas à l’extérieur ou elles viennent dans nos jambes quémander de la nourriture et lorsqu’il y a des crottes devant la porte d’entrée.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour un bon accueil hôte souriant agréable à l'écoute e'qui vous donne des conseils etc... On est chez des hôtes tout en ayant notre indépendance nous avons bien rigolé avec les poules qui sont venu nous dire bonjour tous les matins.
