Lovely home in the hills of Monterosso.

This was a lovely place to stay just above the town of Monterosso. You have a great view of the Ligurian sea and the hills surrounding you. The property is beautiful and the building is new and well done. The grounds are lovely olive and lemon trees, terraced gardens, etc. The breakfast was excellent. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

The staff was great, friendly, understanding and ready to help at any time. The room looked amazing and the view, from right above the sea, was breathtaking. The breakfast had more than enough options, all equally delicious and enjoyable, especially as it was served on a terrace with a marvelous view.

The property was extremely clean and beautifully furnished. The view was lovely and the staff was very kind and friendly.

The bedding was extremely hot, and the pillows uncomfortable. The air conditioning was moderate and the property did not have a fan available for use or an iron for clothing. The location of the property was on a hillside, which made the trek up and down a challenge especially when other guests planned to use the shuttle service. This is not a property for elderly or physically challenged people, even though they have a terrain vehicle to bring people back-and-forth. The location was quiet and away from hustle, and bustle, but not convenient as cab rides ran between 25 and €40.

The breakfast choices were nice. I was a little disappointed that Water was not listed. The location itself was beautiful. The getting to and from the house down the mountain in the quad vehicle required coordination, but the staff was very friendly and prompt when we requested a ride.

The air conditioning did not seem to cool the room. There were no fans.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Agriturismo Missanega, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, everything was on the top level, and the value for money was genuinely remarkable. The staff was amicable and accommodating, making me feel at home. They were always available to help with any questions or concerns, making my stay enjoyable. The view from my room was breathtaking. Waking up each morning to see the rolling hills and lush greenery was a true treat for the senses. The location of Agriturismo Missanega is also very convenient, with a tractor available to transport guests to the car park, as well as a shuttle service to the town. The air was fresh and clear, and the weather was perfect for outdoor activities. I enjoyed exploring the nearby countryside and taking in the beautiful scenery. The food, drinks, and coffee at Agriturismo Missanega were also top-notch. I thoroughly enjoyed every meal, and the coffee was some of the best I've ever had.

The only issue I had during my stay was the mattress in my room, it was uncomfortable and made it difficult for me to get a good night's sleep.

The view is stunning. The room was beautiful and spacious for our family of 4.

That they're still doing breakfast by basket per room. What guests think they'll want for breakfast the night before may not end up being what they feel like eating in the morning. This ends up being quite wasteful and from what it seemed makes a lot more work for the 2 morning employees. The property should go back to serving a dimple buffet breakfast. Guests just take what they want (I.e. one slide of salami instead of an individually wrapped plate of 6 slices) and there would be much less dishes for them to clean.

Loved Missanega, would probably not stay there again only because we prefer having a bit more mobility to go in and out of town doing activities but for families and people wanting a quieter experience it cannot be beat.

Wonderful but remote

The property is wonderful - the room was large and nicely decorated, the bathroom was new, large and modern with a rain shower. The view is beautiful, and the breakfast delicious. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. The only negative is the location. It’s a bit remote, but if you like to be away from the crowd, it would be good for that. They do provide a shuttle to and from the old town, which was always punctual. To reach the hotel from the parking lot (free parking is a plus!), you must travel down a very steep and windy path either by a special shuttle vehicle or walking. It’s almost an adventure!

location is far from Monterossa. only transportation is public bus, cab or an infrequent shuttle from hotel. extremely steep incline from road to hotel. had to either walk or squeeze 4 of us in back of tractor. I fell going down the hill to hotel and was seriously injured. Staff was difficult to communicate with and not helpful with transportation issues

The breakfast was very good, but there was just the problem of eating outdoors with the very aggressive wasps. Otherwise, the location was very nice and the the room was comfortable and spacious.

The entrance from the parking area to the hotel/ agrirurismo was farther away than expected. However, they had a tractor to take you up and down.

Beyond beautiful views and fantastic staff providing excellent personal service and hospitality.

We LOVED the location and the beautiful surroundings and views from both our private patio and the dining patio. It was absolutely lovely to eat a delicious breakfast outside overlooking such wonderful scenery. The staff was beyond excellent and very helpful. We travelled by train so we used the property's shuttle service to get up and down from town. We were late one night from a boat cruise but Laura waited for us to drive us back up the hill to dinner. The kitchen stayed open a little longer for us that evening which was most unexpected but much appreciated. We would HIGHLY recommend this hidden gem to anyone visiting Cinque Terre. We had a fabulous time and would love to stay there AGAIN!

Wonderful, peaceful stay a short distance from Monterosso.

The location was incredibly peaceful. It takes about 20-30 minutes to walk to Monterosso al Mare, on a steep trail -- not recommended with young kids -- but the Agriturismo offers a shuttle a few times per day and there is also a public bus that runs directly past the Agriturismo several times per day. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We are eager to return someday!

Great view. The staff is fantastic. Cecilia and Laura are doing everything to make your stay the most enjoyable. The restaurant is delicious. The bed is comfortable. Will recommend Agriturismo Missanega to anyone going to Cinque Terre.
