Lovely place, amazing location and views.

Communication was great prior to arriving and check in was easy, but check out was a little spotty with communication and there was no place to store luggage so we had to store with the tourist office for a 60 Euro fee. It worked out fine, but we felt there could have been a better option provided. Note that you have to take your trash with you upon check out even though the cleaning people come - it would make sense for the cleaning people to take the trash instead of us having to take it to the garbage receptacles near the train station along with lugging luggage etc. Also, the key situation needs to be addressed. There is only one key which is needed to power the apartment and lock/unlock the door from the inside and outside. If one person stays in, in order to lock the door you need to take the key with you and then the person inside is effectively locked inside. This is a danger in an emergency, and also assumes everyone will be in and out at the same time. Extra towels would be helpful as well as tissues. These things are minor relatively speaking but could present big inconveniences to those not aware ahead of time. Other than this, we were really happy with our stay which is why it is not reflected in the rating.

Spotlessly clean and well equipped in a fabulous location, this apartment enjoys stunning views and is right in the centre of the harbour area. The host, Lorenzo, was very friendly and helpful and is clearly justifiably proud of the property. It was the perfect base to explore Vernazza and the wider Cinque Terre and to return to, to get away from the crowds.
