Refilea Sea View Tower Villa is an enchanting, curious property in Vernazza. Cinque Terre. Its guests will have the feeling of renting something really special. The same feeling that brought, many years ago, a translator and writer to buy this property and make it her exclusive and quiet retreat.
The House
Refilea Sea View Tower Villa occupies a typical Cinque Terre Building, ground floor to roof terrace it has 5 floors.
Starting from the bottom past the front door we have a tiny bathroom with shower (boiler is connected to gas boiler so continuous water is guaranteed). The corridor opens on a small kitchenette and steps start taking us up to the following floor where we have a lovely sitting room with table and couch. The Couch can turn into a single bed.
Then steps up and we have a lovely and quiet double bedroom. Let's go up and we have an amazing studio with table and bookcase that still witness the love for books of the owner. She spent here hours and hours translating into Italian the most adorable Agatha Christies detective novels. The view from the the window could not but inspire here. In her studio we have a single bed. This room has windows with views both on the sea and the village. West the window overlooking the waves, East the window showing us the now non-sacred Frati Church and the Town Hall.
A ladder takes us up to the masterpiece of the villa, a tiny, breathtaking roof terrace that will pleasantly surprise anybody. Here the winds will always cool guests tender moments.
Good To Know
Refilea Sea View Tower Villa has lots of steps! Both on coming up from the the main street to reach it along Via Carattino and inside the building. Against many pleasant and positive aspects in renting this property, you have to keep in mind that bathroom and kitchenette are at the bottom so it might be something not appreciated by all the guests. We advise not to rent this property if you have mobility issues. It's an authentic local tower house, so its authenticity and charme do not get along with modern comforts!

Refilea views are charming and unique from every corner of the house. It is ideal property for solo travellers, couples and small families. Not recommended for toddlers and small children!

"Vernazza is absolutely charming, though if you come, be prepared for climbing stairs and fitting into tight spaces. The rooftop deck is a wonderful place to sip coffee or wine and admire the view. "
