Wonderful stay in a spacious treetop property overlooking Monterosso and the ocean.

The location was fantastic. Close to the old town section of Monterosso. Spacious property with plenty of room for 8 people. AC in bedrooms worked very well. Good sized kitchen. Very scenic views of the town and coast. Beautiful balconies and terraces. Washing machine for clothes was key. The house is a bit older but has so much character.

Dishwasher didn’t work very well. Not enough forks. Needed some better knives and pans.

Beautiful home in Cinque Terre

Location, location, location! Villa Tanca is located just steps away from the beaches, stores and restaurants; but at the same time you have lots of privacy. We loved to live in a home with so much history and so many beautiful rooms with breathtaking views! All the bedrooms have excellent AC so we slept comfortably every night. At night, we would cook our own pasta with pesto for dinner and look at the amazing view while seating in the kitchen. In the morning, we would have coffee, eggs and croissants. All the breakfast items, that were given to us, were so yummy! We hope everyone can visit Villa Tanca and have the same great time that our family had. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you to everyone, specially Mr. Tanca!

A fabulous historic villa in a great location, overlooking a village with so much charm.

The host provided a basket of local food / produce and wine upon arrival, which included items for breakfast and dinner. The views from all levels of the house were amazing. It is in such a great location. Each bedroom had USB charging stations, which made it a lot easier to charge our various devices.

Carrying our luggage up the stairs to the house was challenging, but much easier going down the stairs when we left.

heat and humidity was difficult without ac. I know the property doesn’t claim to have it but even with doors open, there was no air flow. however, we appreciated the fans.

property is tired, owner should reinvest a little bit of $ into better outdoor and living room furniture, a 2hr a week gardener and better internet
