About this house rental

The property benefits from private parking and is situated on the main street running through Callander, conveniently located close to amenities.

Situated on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Dunmor is an ideal holiday base.

You will have the entire property to yourselves for the duration of your stay.
With plenty of reception areas to chill and enjoy you won't be short of space. Alternatively relax in the property's modern and spacious bedrooms, with ensuite facilities.

On the ground floor there is a Games Room for guests to have fun, featuring a pool/snooker table and conversion table tennis top. Alternatively, you can also relax and unwind whilst watching a film from Netflix on the huge 75 inch ambilight wall mounted TV with sound bar. If you seek something quieter, play a board game from one of the selection available. A relaxing Lounge/Dining Room is also on the ground floor which boasts a beautiful solid oak dining table seating 14 guests, sofas and another ambilight TV.

On the mezzanine level there is a master suite at the rear of the house which has a super king sized bed, it's own lounge area with a TV, DVD and Wii games console and separate bath and shower rooms. The suite lounge can be converted from a living space into a 7th bedroom (if used as a lounge this will leave 6 bedrooms available) to sleep a further 2 guests in a single bed and sofa bed if required, taking the maximum guest capacity to 14.

There are a further 5 ensuite bedrooms in the property, one of which is on the ground floor and 4 on the first floor.

The fully fitted, well equipped kitchen complete with a breakfast bar and 4 stools, range cooker, dishwasher and fridge freezer leads into the breakfast area which has further dining space for 8 people. Off the back of the property is a stunning light and spacious conservatory overlooking the garden, ideal for reading and relaxing or for the children to enjoy kids pool/air hockey/table football games.

The property is pet friendly, allowing guests to bring up to 3 dogs to stay. We have a Mud Daddy, hard dog beds and bowls available for use. If the property is not at full occupancy we can be flexible on this so please feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements.

The private, enclosed garden at the rear of the house has a lovely decked area with outdoor tables and chairs to seat 14. Sit back and relax whilst the children enjoy swing ball and the football goal post.

A fully lockable garage can be used for the storage of bicycles and walking/hiking equipment if necessary.

Beautiful large house. Pool table was used lots by all. Very relaxed feel to the house and plenty of space for our large group of 10

Inadequately equipped kitchen, for those who want to cook meals, not enough comfortable chairs to seat eight people together. Bedrooms excellent, heating and water excellent. Not really suitable for walkers since nowhere to put mucky shoes/boots. Lots of parking. Outside seating vg.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Dunmor. The house was perfect for our family. We loved the games. There was so much space, so our family could spread out and have time to ourselves when needed. The house was clean and Zillah was a perfect host. There is so much to do in and around Callander. We will definitely be back!

The property comfortably slept all 10 adults & 4 children to help celebrate my 60th birthday. The weather wasn’t great but there was still plenty of things to do / games to play in the house, with enough space so as not to feel cramped. Very comfortable house.

It speaks for itself - this was our third visit to Dunmor House. The location is good - in easy reach of the Trossachs, Stirling, Perth, Glasgow and Edinburgh so there are plenty of things to do - and the local shops are within walking distance. The house offers flexible accommodation and suits our large family group. The games room is a great asset and there is plenty of room in the house to either spend time as a large group or to enjoy some quiet time if needs be! We usually enjoy the garden too - unfortunately the weather didn't allow for that this time around .......The hosts are very accommodating and are easy to contact if needs be - the welcome pack is much appreciated. This is a comfortable house that we feel very much at home in when we visit which makes for a relaxing holiday.

Family get together from Salford & Aberdeen so Callander ideal spot. The boys (aged 20-31) loved the snooker table and as it rained most evenings it was a god send

We were pleasantly surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked with everything you could ask for.the selection of games kept everyone entertained. And the gift of chocolates and wine gave that extra special.touch...would definitely recommend and return.
