Set in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park on the historic Rothiemurchus Estate, The Old Minister's House offers the perfect blend of Highland charm and contemporary comfort. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, yet only a short walk from the vibrant town of Aviemore, it's an ideal base for exploring the best of the Highlands.
This elegant former manse features five spacious en-suite bedrooms in the main house, plus a tranquil riverside suite with a further en-suite bedroom. Thoughtfully designed social spaces include a welcoming lounge with a log-burning stove, a riverside TV snug, a large dining room, fully equipped kitchen, utility room, and practical boot room, ideal for outdoor adventurers.
Outside, guests can unwind in the outdoor hot tub or gather together in the alfresco cooking and dining area, surrounded by the sounds of the nearby river.
Each bedroom takes inspiration from the surrounding landscape, combining 19th century romance with 21st century comfort. Expect crisp cotton linens, pocket-sprung mattresses, and blackout curtains for the perfect night's sleep. Please note there are no tv's in the bedrooms.

Another great stay at the property.
We were a group of 10 adults and there is plenty of space for everyone without it feeling overcrowded.
Fantastic location whether you are walking into Aviemore itself, or walking in the other direction to Loch Morlich.

Family get together for xmas ,six adults five children .Accomadation met all of our needs bedrooms good size with own bathrooms and comfy beds.
Kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of crockery etc.
Ideal location for Aviemore and cafe and shop next door.

Thoroughly great stay at the Old Ministers house with family recently. Location is excellent and the house is really well set up for a large group. We will most definitely be back!
