THE SPACE

Set in a peaceful and secluded Perthshire glen close to Bridge of Cally, Milton of Drimmie Farmhouse is a cosy yet spacious Highland retreat designed for extended families and friends to truly come together. Surrounded by sweeping hill and glen views, rolling countryside and wildlife, it sits at the heart of Perthshire’s natural beauty — quiet, restorative and perfectly placed for exploring, reconnecting and slowing into the rhythm of rural Scotland.

With 6 flexible bedrooms and plenty of room for everyone, the farmhouse offers spaces for gathering and spaces for retreat. The large open-plan living area with a log burner becomes the adults’ haven, while the TV/Games Snug gives younger guests their own cosy corner. The dining conservatory, seating up to 15 and framed by spectacular views across the Perthshire hills and glens, is the perfect setting for long, laughter-filled family meals.

Children naturally gravitate toward the Games Barn (a favourite for older kids and teens) or the garden play area (perfect for younger children), while the adults enjoy relaxed afternoons and evenings by the log burner or lingering by the firepit under the stars. Whether indoors or out, there is room for everyone to unwind in their own way.

Nature lovers will relish the chance of spotting pine martens in the garden, strolling the nearby Cateran Trail, or chasing adventure in the Cairngorms. From glen walks and wildlife-watching to day trips across Perthshire’s historic landscape, adventure is never far — yet the farmhouse always welcomes you back to comfort at the end of the day.

Milton of Drimmie feels like a place where time stretches, generations mix easily, and memories made here shape the stories your family will tell for years. It is Highland comfort in its truest sense — warm, spacious, grounded in nature and designed for togetherness.

Wonderful weekend away with 13 friends to this impressive property in the most idyllic setting. Bedrooms and bathrooms extremely clean, crisp and met every need. Social areas spacious enough to accommodate large groups comfortably and were equipped with more than enough seating etc to meet our needs. Cooking and eating area also very well equipped with enough kitchenware to meet every need and more. Garden area is just beautiful with a good social set up. Host was extremely helpful and accommodating. There was a mixup with our booking but Noeleen couldn't have been more accommodating in the solutions she offered and provided. Would recommend staying here 100%. If I could give one bit of advice to people staying I would suggest getting up before anyone else and sitting outside in silence with a coffee listening to the birds and sound of nature waking up for the day... Absolute bliss!

Had an absolutely great time with our group of friends. The house and garden were immaculate and we really appreciated all the space for games (highly recommend a game of sardines)!

Other than a plethora of flies upon our arrival (quickly dispatched by my sons), all was wonderful, with a new coffee maker! Really rough roads surrounding the location, but after all, it is rural Scotland! Great location for accessing a fair assortment of historical sites.
