The Kipling Inn, 4 - Bed, Sleeps 7, Pets Welcome

We were up with family across a few different houses in the ulverston area. This was easily the best option in terms of location within the town but also for a lovely home vibe!

Only down side, at the end of the first day, we noticed the heating wasn’t on. So we checked the thermostat and the boiler and called Diana for some advice or guidance. Diana was fantastically communicative with our heating issues. Even going as far to source a bunch of space heaters until it was resolved. However, it did take until the end of our last full day before we had functioning central heating, and this was one of the more cold and wet weekends that we’ve had this year.

Well presented and a good location.

Only chairs are around the dining table. Heating didn’t work on first or second floors. We lost hot water as well while we were there. Ovens not great. Took a very long time to cook Xmas lunch

Bedrooms good sizes. Equipment in the kitchen were good.

No lounge area, there is only a dining kitchen. Outdoor area with broken chairs, there were only 4 which isn't enough for the what the property caters for. A lot of the drinking glasses were chipped. There weren't any instruction manuals for the property eg rubbish / how to work the oven etc.

The property was very clean and was well stocked with the extras and lots of cleaning products.

The beds are very hard and pretty uncomfortable. The property could benefit from a proper sofa and separate dining area.
