The lodge is very spacious and bright. There was a welcome pack that included a couple of bottles of water, milk, biscuits and tea and coffee as well. There were some toiletries as well if you forgot to bring your own.The kitchen is well equipped and had adequate crockery and cuttlery. The beds were comfortable as well as the couch. We could stay on it all night after a busy day of exploration. Water pressure is good so we really enjoyed our showers ^_^ 3 TVs in total--1 in the sitting room and 1 in each room...but there is a caveat below... Location was superb. It's just a 5 minute drive to Lakeside and about 15 minutes drive to Windermere Town centre. There is a petrol station that is walking distance to the park and a Budgens that is well supplied. There is also a Greggs that is handy if you want some brekky or snack on the go. There is a laundry facility within the park. £3 per load and 20p/10mins of drying time. Make sure to bring £1s and 20p coins with you if you'd like to do some laundry. There are books in there too which you could borrow or do a book swap with.
The parking for Fellside Lodge was a tight one. It's impossible to park there when there is someone occupying the next door parking. You actually have to reverse back on a narrow inclined road if you ever want to park there and get out as well. There is no room to maneuver at all. I don't know who ever thought of that setup. We ended up parking near the park office which thankfully was just very close by. The bedroom curtains could be better by changing them to blackout ones. With the longer days, it's difficult to get small children to sleep due to the room being bright. The daylight also woke us up so if you're the type who wants to sleep in darkness, better have travel blackout curtains with you. The TV reception was horrible! It was very patchy and we realised that there is no aerial for the Lodge when we looked outside. There was just a bare pole with nothing on it. Good thing our 4G connection was good and we had an HDMI for the phone to connect to the TV so we managed to watch some programs. Not a big deal but would actually improve the experience: 1. Hooks for coats/jackets will be handy by the entrance 2. Instructions for the heating regulator 3. A rack for toiletries in the shower 4. Sort out the TV aerial

Clean, well-equipped lodge on a fantastic site! The balcony view is beautiful, and the bathroom facilities are excellent. The kitchen is ideal for anyone looking to whip up quick, easy meals during their stay.
Unfortunately, the furniture was a bit of a letdown. Both the main mattress and the sofa bed were uncomfortable; specifically, the sofa bed was unusable as a double because the wooden frame created a hard ridge down the center. Additionally, the dining setup was quite awkward, the table was oversized for the room and too high to be used comfortably with the low stools provided.

Warm, spacious main bedroom. Good kitchen and utensils
The internet connection was possibly the worst I've ever encountered. I like to bring my TV box so we can relax after a day's hiking, but the HDMI connection was broken. Even if that had worked, the internet speed was only 1 Mbps, probably the slowest I've ever experienced. Yes, I understand that it's important not to be glued to screens all the time. However, it's nice to watch our usual shows after a nice dinner, etc.
