Caravan was spotless, modern spacious rooms and comfy beds. Loved the information booklet with all the local information of walks and attractions to visit. Site was really peaceful, picturesque and a great base to explore the area.

Wonderful holiday home, everything top notch, fully furnished with all the essentials you need, location is great to explore lake district.

Wi-fi is almost non-existant in the holiday home we stayed in i.e. cartmel but the mobile signals were good so that's one option you have until they improve it i.e. to use your mobile data

A quiet location, the cottage was large and comfortable. A great welcome package and well equipped with everything you need.

Lovely quiet location but close to some great visitor sites, lovely spot for children to play and very peaceful. Would recommend and would happily stay again.

The internet connection was possibly the worst I've ever encountered. I like to bring my TV box so we can relax after a day's hiking, but the HDMI connection was broken. Even if that had worked, the internet speed was only 1 Mbps, probably the slowest I've ever experienced. Yes, I understand that it's important not to be glued to screens all the time. However, it's nice to watch our usual shows after a nice dinner, etc.

Good shower,fresh and clean living space,peaceful dog friendly. Nice to sit and chill on the decking

Probably just me but I couldn’t get the hob working. Could do with a plinth around the decking to stop the dogs ball rolling off or pushing her bowl over the edge

A lovely peaceful break

We had a lovely long weekend in the Lake District. The lodge was the perfect place to stay for two couples, with two comfy double bedrooms with ensuites and a spacious living area. It had everything we needed and was in a great location for exploring the lakes. The welcome pack, including a little something for our dog was a great touch!

The bedding and towels was very clean and they supplied with plenty of towels! Inside is so cute !

The kitchen was supplied with everything a person need in a normal household. And everything was new a clean.

It’s a shame the WiFi connection is nearly impossible . Also the oven is a gas and was seemed to not work at different temperatures. Was making just a big flame without be able to lower it . But other than that everything was very good.

Quiet comfortable weekend short break

Booked the Buttermere Hive which was dog friendly.Lovely quiet location, well equipped.Comfortable little break.Ideal location to visit all Lakes attractions. Lovely touch with the welcome pack that was really welcome. The shell garage with a budgens supermarket was a short walk away so handy to top up if you run out of anything.

WiFi was very slow. If you are on a budget and want to cook a meal there is a hob and a microwave but no oven so are limited to what you can prepare. Apart from this I would definitely recommend.a stay at Newby Bridge Caravan Park.

Bathrooms need upgrading, fittings are loose. Parking was very tight but I appreciate space is a premium , it was fine, just tight for a family car

Nice caravan park in perfect location

The location was perfect, the nearby petrol station with Gregg's was also very convenient. The caravan was tidy and well equipped.

Beds were too small for tall person like me (186 cm). Not many activities for kids apart from a small playground. Other than that it was spot on!

Great quiet caravan park with excellent access to the lakes

The location is good for getting different places, the caravan was spacious and comfortable with most things you need to cook meals. There was a welcome pack and we received a card and a bottle of wine as we had got married on 25/05 and this was a lot better than the 4 star hotel we left! We would stay again definitely

Really clean, loved the little extras like the wine and welcome box for humans and dogs. Very well appointed with bedding towels and well stocked cooking and dining equipment

Escape is good from the normal life

Absolutely amazing,we had everything what we needed. You can park also next to the house which is handy and you have facilities like laundry etc. Friendly neighbours as well. Also the welcome package was wonderful Thank you guys

Our caravan was under the tree. It’s was raining during nights (we stayed 3 nights) couldn’t sleep as the noise was very loud.

Located in a very picturesque and quiet place. The property was very cosy and welcoming. We were greeted with a welcoming pack and some wine. Very pleased with our choice.

There were some small signs of disrepair and a few areas that needed attention but nothing major that would take away from the experience.

Great location. Very quiet site which was great for us and our dog Good amount of space inside and outside Bed was comfortable Very clean Lovely touch adding dog bed, bowls and welcome wine, biscuits and dog treats. Very welcoming staff.

Tired bathrooms but everything worked just fine Outside slabs broken and many loose which could be trip hazard. Chair by back door legs very loose.
