The accommodation itself is beautiful, such a cozy place and everything is there for your needs, beautiful views from inside and out. The couple who run it are absolutely exceptional they are so kind and generous, accommodating to your needs if and when needed we couldn’t thank them enough for helping us out, they are very close by if you need anything, they are genuinely lovely people and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay, the walks we did were amazing and the overall stay was lovely, definitely one to go back to.

The hut was lovely and cosy, really clean and well kept. The hosts were lovely and welcoming. Great location, not far from Windermere. Quaint little setting and perfect for a short stay!

Loved the outside space and the inside of the accommodation. Extremely clean and so cool in the heat wave and extremely comfortable bed

There is no oven despite it stating there is, there are 2 hobs and the use of a bbq hut. Would have liked to know that you had to park on the road more for information

Lovely cabins in a Beautiful woodland garden setting, with access to seating areas and BBQ. Walks from the doorstep, easy drive to find supermarkets, cafes etc and hosts very friendly.

Excellent place. Nice and chilled. Hosts are very helpful and always available for help if you need any information or anything. BBQ HUT IS A MUST. The woodsman hut is spacious with plenty room around the bed. We will be back thank you for our stay

Ash shepherd’s hut was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated with lovely finishing touches and a mini kitchen well stocked with everything needed for cooking & eating. Compact space but what you would expect from a shepherd’s hut. Lovely outdoor space and bbq area.

Lovely Area & Very Clean Accomodation

Host very helpful, sent us a text with directions. Lovely and clean and had everything inside that you could need, clean towels, cutlery, TV etc. Our hut was in a nice position got sun most of the day.

Wasnt as big as it appeared in some pictures we had seen. We are both in our 70s and need to use the bathroom a few times a night, with one side of the bed touching the wall we needed to wake the other person so we could get out. At our age we cant be climbing over, it would however be fine for younger people.

Cosy, relaxing stay in the Lakes

Perfectly located for access to the Lakes, the huts are a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing base for a holiday. Liz and Neil have really thought of everything when building the huts, they are beautifully designed with homely touches and so cosy to boot! We would absolutely recommend a stay here and will definitely be back!

Relaxing glamping!

A beautiful little gem of a place. Small shepherd’s hut but very well planned and has everything you need for a relaxing break. Lovely attention to detail and good quality equipment. Good facilities in the grounds and shared spaces too.
