A very stylish and modern hotel — we really enjoyed our stay! The breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious, with fresh juice and a great selection of food. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

A beautiful and tastefully modern restoration of an old structure, with lots of old timber beams and tributes to the old building’s former history. High quality finishes. High standards throughout Great breakfast.

Best hotel room ever!

First class design, furniture, equipment, looks. Staff were very helpful esp. receptionist. Breakfast was wonderful. The shower room had to be seen to be believed. More than enough luggage shelves - an absolute first. Our room (it was a suite really) was particularly large!

The hotel is still partially in development so it’s arguable that there should have been more for the money. Sadly, I suspect that when it’s finished the price might go up though. Some of the ‘new fangled’ electrics - switches and heating etc., defeated us! Maybe they slightly oversold the ‘mountain view’ aspect of the room - there is one but the windows have the weirdest blinds that don’t lift all the way up!! The breakfast room, although absolutely beautiful, is already on the cramped side for the no.s staying there - but that’s being really picky.

New structure, nice renovation, nice design. High quality doors. Good water pressure in shower. Nice WC sink and shower. Room has lots of space. Nice balcony. High ceilings. It’s nice that plug sockets have USB. Nice tea pot. Nice view from the balcony. Breakfast is good.

Light switch for WC sink does not work as intended. A/C did not adequately keep the room at a comfortable temperature. It was cooler outside in the morning than in the room. Conservation should not come at the expense of comfort. Balcony has no chairs or table to have coffee or tea setting on the balcony in the morning.

Brilliant. Would definitely stay there again

The hotel was fantastic and old, 16th century, but the facilities were up to date. The room I had was spacious with excellent facilities. Bathroom was great and the shower was very good. The staff were very happy to help and looked after me. The breakfast was very good and the room in which it was set with a vaulted stone ceiling was amazing

Ideally it would have had a restaurant but that was no problem as there were some near so this is being picky!

A small oazis

After having walked the back way through small cozy streets, we find a small sign and the back door through a cute passage. There you see the hotel, which is brand new renovated but with respect for the old original style with wooden beams and rockwall's. The place is full of charm and despite close to a busy road (when entering through the main road), it was so quiet. The rooms were large and very nice, clean and high-tech switches. Bathroom big and soundproof. Breakfast was amazing - you could squice your own juices and honey directly from the waxplates. A small oazis definitely worth visiting.

Toilet seat didn't have soft close so made some noice. One room had quite some noice from adjacent rooms.

Absolutely fantastic hotel

The hotel is beautiful and unique. The breakfast is fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had a family room which was huge and the shower was amazing.

Bed was a little hard for me. No on site bar but there is an honesty bar which was fine. It had soft drinks, beer and wine.
