Mark ( proprietor)picked me up from the inversnaid hotel to the Bunkhouse.. very good customer engagement. Sean& Caitlin who work there made sure my accommodation was to my liking and ensured I was able to get a pack lunch as I was leaving early in the morning. A thoroughly relaxing and pleasurable experience🥰🏃♂️🏴💙
Cannot fault The Inversnaid Bunkhouse

The people working there were brilliant and very friendly. The Pod was very comfy and cosy, the addition of the tv was great too. Everything was very clean.
The Internet was very inconsistent but probably to be expected. ,

Great location. POD is Very cosy & comfy. We were doing WHW & this particular day we were soaked through, & there was a fabulous block with drying room for our gear, & good hot showers.

Location and ease of access
Didn't know we were supposed to bring our own bedding or pay additional fee. Didn't get specific information about this before arriving.

Nice pod with two mattresses, a microwave and a fridge. Bring your own sleeping bag.
We went on hot days (despite being early April) and didn’t need heating (although available).
There is a big kitchen in the area for more serious cooking, for those who want more than noodles.
Nice staff. Quiet location. Easy to find. The reception has a small market with limited supplies.
Shower was an issue for me. It’s one of those with push valve. No problem, except that the one I used lasted 3 seconds. Holding it down also cuts the flow. So, I spent my shower pumping that thing continuously. Annoying, but hey, hot water for a hiker, pure luxury :-)

Lovely camping in a beautiful spot
We decided to sleep in the pod, with the shared bathroom. Nice and comfortable accommodation with two beds, but it is a pity that neither in the ad on booking, nor in the messages I had with the structure after booking, it was specified that there were no blankets and pillows.
We had to rent them for £6 each, and it's okay, if only it was reported..
I add that even at the check-in at reception it was not specified, but we were only asked for towels, and when we went to ask for blankets, the girl at the reception answered us very badly.
So I recommend the structure in half, because the place is enchanting but the organization and staff need to be reviewed.

A great little pod and perfect location for doing the WHW. Exactly what we needed after 20 miles walking and it was spacious enough to fit our suitcase too. Looking to come back and stay again. Good hot showers too!

Clean, perfect position, friendly staff, nice pods
No welcome pack, no equipment in the pod at all eg cutlery, no access to tea/coffee. Also, booking.com have charged me twice!

Price was great and the staff were friendly. It's the second time I've stayed here and would definitely book again.

Location is great
Price for what it is, is excessive although of course you are right on the WHW and the site was nice and quiet which for me was the most important thing.. 'Posh' pod is a bit of a stretch! And it seems churlish not to allow use of the hostel's facilities even though yhat wasn't an issue for me.

It was our first night in a pod and we really enjoyed it.
It was very cozy, clean and confortable (we used our own sleeping bag).
The camping is very nice, at the end of a road, amongst large trees.

The location.
The facilities. There was no mention on booking.com that you had to take your own bedding. I had to hire it on arrival.
The mattresses in the pod are basic at best.
The toilets and showers are communal. No problems with this, but again an oversight on the part of booking.com not to highlight this in the information provided.
The TV had very few channels missing some of the basic ones.
There were no tea / coffee sachets for making brews.
It is marketed as "Posh Pod". That is far from the case. Maybe I am under a misapprehension as to what pods offer, as it is the first time I've stayed in one.

The Pod was nice and the heater allowed for a comfortable stay. The campsite was well laid out and well kept
The shared facilities were not great and certainly not in line with the price paid for a Pod.. Showers did not have enough pressure to even get wet, there was no heating (making a shower without (much) water an uncomfortable experience after a long day's walk) and the facilities block could do with more frequent cleaning, given the amount of people that come through the campsite

The showers/toilets were not the cleanest and there was no heating. Not very welcoming to have a shower in!

there was a mix up with our booking as we booked through booking.com but for some reason the posh pod had no note of this. our friends had to stay in the hostel bit rather than the pod they had booked which they were disappointed with but that was the only availability. it did spoil their holiday a bit but the alternative was to have no overnight stay at all and go back home. we were glad that there was still some accommodation they could find for us. maybe a glitch in system needs fixed. We were in the pod and were pleased with it as it was lovely. location is good and campsite was quiet and well kept. pods have tv and microwave and ours had fridge and inside toilet. we were walking west highland way and it was right at the end of the crainlarich to tyndrum section so very handy. i would stay again but they do need to make sure system for booking is corrected. maybe contact them if they book through booking .com just to be on safe side right after you make your booking.

the location is great.
despite advising time off check in, there was no one there at check in even though the train didn’t get in until 8:30pm. it was a Sunday night and we were worried we would be stranded. no one answering the phone at the site so left 2 messages to call back. went to the pub & a lovely lady there phoned the owner who then left keys and a note of apology, so we did have a bed for the night, which was great. however one of the pods smelled overwhelmingly of varnish or new wood and I had to have the window open all night, so the pod was freezing. finally slept at 5am. when I reported this in the morning the owner didn’t apologise but just said others had not been bothered by the smell. shame as it would have been nice for her to just say sorry and at least investigate…
