This was our favorite stop over ten days in Scotland. A small cottage (bothy) in a very secluded area on the Loch of Ruel. The place was charmingly small and cozy with amazing views of the loch. The location, wood stove and views provided us a feel of Scotland from another era. We stayed only one night, but felt that, with the loch beach and local hiking, there was plenty to explore had we been able to stay longer. The owners were also wonderful and helpful.
