Peaceful and quaint. The running stream behind the cabin was a huge bonus

The view is wonderful. Overlooks the river and hills beyond. Very tranquil. Not far in the car to the Cot House which has a mini supermarket and very cheap fuel!

I love these little lodges, I've stayed there a few times and it never disappoints.
Warm cosy and comfortable accommodation with everything you need for a short stay set in an idyllic location. Lots of lovely walks and drives and not far from Dunoon if you want to go for food or just a wander.
Tufty visiting the lodge was extra special too xxx
The weather, but hey its Scotland the rain is pretty much a guarantee at this time of year.

Great location away from the town, but close enough to visit pubs , shops and all the local amenities. Amazing view from the lodge and great scenery surrounding.
The vacation was too short 😫

Nice spot and very homely.
The red tape associated with booking , I’ve travelled the world and stayed in many places but have never been asked to transfer £100 damage security before I got the codes to get in .when you are on the road theses things can be arkward and £100 if you really did some damage what would that cover ?
Just my opinion ….only other thing when you offer self catering I think you should leave a small bottle of cooking oil salt and pepper even if it’s only the sachets .

Lovely location next to river, very scenic & tranquil with sound of river nearby. Cabin (Hawthorn) very comfortable with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Lots of attention to detail which makes all the difference.

Property is immaculate and had everything we needed. It’s small but cosy. Only a 10 minute drive from Dunoon and a shop just a couple of minutes down the road. We did a lot of walking which you could do from the property. Owners kept in contact and provided a good local information. We would definitely book again.

Setting, squirrels, trees, parking, tv, toaster, cooker, seating, comfortable bed, windows that opened.
Smaller than expected, traffic noise and access to property was not easy.

Friendly and accommodating hosts. A clean and welcoming lodge with a complimentary snack basket provided. Good facilities for self-catering break. Lovely scenery. Dvd's, books and some games provided in the lodge.
Nothing.

Peaceful location near attractions such as Puck's Glen (unfortunately closed atm) and Benmore Botanic Garden.
The weather!
Found the supplied directions confusing and initially arrived at the wrong location.

Right next to a main road with a lot of traffic noise. Very poor reception.only function on TV was Netflix. Floor boards creek throughout. Sofa well worn and uncomfortable to sit on. Lumpy bed, quilt and flat pillows bin was filthy. All communication with owner via text which is difficult with lack of reception. Left early.

Nice view of the mountains
The river view was almost nonexistent and the the noise coming from the road was quite loud at times depending on the time of day

2nd time staying at the lodges though this time we were in “Bramble”. The location was perfect and the lodge is well stocked with everything you’d need for your stay. Ideal location for a lovely peaceful break. Great communication from our hosts. I’d highly recommend these lodges to anyone. Exceptional standard. 😊

Where do we start. Arrived on the Friday tea time. Sun was shining, so a good start. Got the keys from the key press just as the owners said. Opened the door and were really impressed with was we saw. Very clean and tidy. Everything you needed was available, even a welcome pack with shortbread, crisps and caramel biscuits.
The views from the decking exceptional. Local wild life came a calling for bread and biscuits, Robins, magpies etc. It would have been rude not to feed them lol.
Cooking facilities were great. Ice box had ice already in it and it was very much welcomed.
The wood burner was great but be,warned it soon warms up the place.
cannot wait to go back.

The property was perfect, it was beautiful to open the doors to the veranda and hear the river and birds, look at the trees and hills.
The bed was very comfortable, loved the duvet and mattress. Also, the kitchen is well equipped for cooking (as said in advert, bring your own condiments) but plenty to cook with.
TV, a few games and info books were also a lovely touch. Hosts were very efficient with instructions for arriving and leaving, plus left us to our own devices as we prefer.
I can only say the shower isn’t the greatest power and a little noise from the road, however earplugs are provided and the lodge is well insulated and sound proofed so you can barely hear neighbours come and go!

Pleasant location with parking outside the lodge , comfortable bed
Wi-Fi broke down at 7pm one day not fixed till following day at 5.30pm as I was using this as a work base this was very inconvenient p!us TV ran off internet so left with No tv too , I would recommended tv be either freeview or sky.
No wardrobe or coathangers for clothes, decking steps very slippery and too narrow to step down easily.
Also felt I received far too many text messages and messages via booking.com from owners.
Too many rules and reminders to pay for logs and any damages incurred.

The piece and quietness . Beautiful setting. Found the accommodation to be comfortable clean and well maintained.
The midges. The key lock box was very hard to open and close .

Loved everything!! The lodge was lovely, picturesque views, well equipped and cosy with the log burner. The bed was super comfortable with quality bedding. Location was ideal for our trip which was mainly exploring Argyle Forest Park and plenty amenities close by. Great communication from the hosts who were very accommodating. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
Only thing I would say was occasional traffic noise at night which can't be helped, given its situated off a main road, so if you're a light sleeper, maybe pack some earplugs.
