Exceptionally clean, well appointed, compact accommodation The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The kitchen space too was excellent with full size cooker. Not so much space to eat at the table but if the weather had been better, there is an outdoor patio space The owners sent us a very useful PDF of local recommendations. Cozy cottage in a fantastic location!

The Wee Ludging is small but it felt very cozy. There was actually plenty of room for two people as everything was placed to maximize the space. The living room chairs were very comfortable and the charging station for our mobile devices was great. We really liked the location and also appreciated having dedicated parking for our vehicle.

We have no complaints.

Lovely 2 night stay in immaculate accommodation

lovely stay, very clean and comfy, had everything we required for a 2 night stay. Property was easy to find, private parking with its own private seating area. Thankfully 2 blankets/bed covers where provided and a fan. Petrol station with wee shop within walking distance. Spent a whole day at the nearby botanic gardens, also walkable distance.

Due to the high weather temperatures the property was overbearingly hot when we arrived. Managed to cool the property after closing all the blinds and curtains, opening the windows and putting on the fan for a few hours we managed to get the property down to a temperature we could sleep in. Didn't manage to get into the bed as it was too warm to sleep, Slept on the top with a blanket over us. Put us off a little with all the instructions of what we needed to do, before, during and after our stay. Understandable from a property owners view, as the property is immaculate but off putting when you just want to enjoy your holiday. We couldn't get the TV to work, but not a big deal for us.

What a find !, This beautiful wee cottage had everything we needed , set in a glorious, tranquil location , loved the quality of the place , after a long drive , to sink into those very comfy armchairs was much appreciated , the decor was fresh , modern , very pretty , lovely soft towels , pristine bedding , super clean , would love to stay again ,,, !! Quiet and relaxing retreat surrounded by beautiful nature.

Impressed by how well thought-out and optimised the space is. Fully equipped and furnished with taste (you can even find a hot-water bottle!). Lovely and very discreet landlords. Ideal for a quiet and relaxing retreat in a picturesque setting. Walking distance from Benmore Botanic Garden and Puck's Glen.

I wish we had a car to explore the area. We could have crossed by ferry.

Beautiful apartment, great location for some relax and recharge time

Beautiful location, apartment spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated it has everything you would need in it. Good parking area with secure gates. Perfect for a couple who want relax and recharge. Option of exploring the local area, going for walks or a short drive into the main town which has plenty of cafe's, bars and pubs, lovely walk along the esplanade with fantastic views which on a good day you can see for miles. Ferry's from Gourock to Dunoon every 10 minutes, great service.

The property was absolutely beautiful. Such lovely detail and small finishings. Very comfortable bed and blankets. Fantastic shower and kitchen. spotlessly clean. The views over the hills were amazing. Would return in a second. Great value for money. Glen puck waterfall trail and benmore botanic gardens are very close and are both amazing things to do in the area. Meeting the dog topped my trip as he came for a pet and some cuddles. (Very cute collie) fantastic stay and beautiful place.

The Wee Ludging is wee but is very well designed with high quality furniture and fittings. Lovely bathroom and surprisingly well resourced kitchen. The lodge was beautifully clean and practical. It was cool when we arrived but warmed up quickly. Ideal for a short break. The nearby forest walks are a delight

Perfect!

The Wee Ludging is small but perfect- everything that you would need has been thought about and is there for you! It was perfect for my partner and I who were on holiday for 6 nights, with just a 10min drive to Dunoon. All of the furnishings are really beautiful, and the lodge was immaculately clean. We looked forward to coming back each day (and found it hard to leave in the mornings because we were so comfortable!). I liked that my parking was right outside our lodge and was gated. Stephen and Liz were great hosts- although we did not need to see them as no problems, we knew they were nearby. All of the info they left re the property and surrounding attractions/ recommendations were great too.

The Wee Ludging is an absolute gem of a place. Very peaceful and private location for a couple. From the outside it looks small, but the inside space is utilised perfectly and has absolutely everything required for a cosy, self-catering stay. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to return. It's just across the road from Puck's Glen, so perfect for walking etc. and the resident red squirrel popped over to visit us on a few occasions!

Had a great 4 day stay. The Wee Ludging was lovely, cosy and very comfortable and which provides everything you need for your stay . Can’t fault anything about the accommodation (a wee house)which had everything we needed .The online pics are good but the actual reality is even nicer. Great location for walks whether it is a forest, Loch or town walk , Bishops Glen is a lovely short work just at the edge of the town . Wish we had booked for a longer stay . If going by ferry to Dunoon would recommend buying tickets online before you travel as it is cheaper . Stephen and Liz responded swiftly to messages and sent instructions in preparation for our arrival. Gorgeous views. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend staying here. Thank you Stephen and Liz a great little gem you have .
