Amazing cabin, amazing location

This is a perfect wee cabin in an awesome location on the edge of Dalmally. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Arriving was super easy, and it had everything you need for a short break. Just wonderful.

A beautiful location and excellent host

Incredible views from the hut. The check-in couldn't have been easier. We knew Libby was nearby, so if we needed anything, we'd be ok. But as it turned out, we didn't need any assistance. The hut was well appointed and comfortable. We didn't get the right weather to use the outside amenities such as the chiminea and BBQ, but I bet when the weather is good, these are absolutely fantastic.

The indoor stools were on hinges attached to the wall. This was a bit of an annoyance for us as we had an infant with us and it made it difficult to fit his travel cot, but also made it more difficult to feed him. Not a big thing, but certainly a little bit frustrating.

Wee hideaway heaven!

This place is a wee hidden gem! Absolutely beautiful scenery and the cabin is kitted out with everything you need. I had a bit of trouble with my motorbike and the host couldn't have been more helpful. Got me back on the road and home safe. Really appreciated it! Thanks again. Will definitely be back... Probably bring the car next time 😂

Peaceful and cosy little getaway in a stunning place.

Beautiful views in a stunning location. Very peaceful with everything available for a quiet stay away from the world. Plenty to see and do around the local area. Loved the fire stove and the BBQ pit. A great place to spend the evening outside by the fire watching the stars and the mountains.

Lovely hut in an excellent location and very well equipped. Everything we needed was available to us! Perfect location for Loch Awe and beyond, and only 10 mins walk from the train station if you don't have a car.

Fantastic tiny house in wonderful location

This little cabin is just perfect. The moment you step in it feels like home. Great view towards the mountains. It has all amenities you need, glasses, mugs, plates, pans etc. Libby just cleaned the place when we arrived, it was impeccable. Bed was comfortable, hot water was really hot.

It was cold. There's an electric fire place inside, but we couldn't figure out if it was also for heating or just for atmosphere. We did manage to get the lights on. But the comforter and blankets kept us warm at night.

Amazing location, great value for money, views were fantastic and relaxing. We spend most of the night out by the fire. Was very secluded and peaceful. Would recommend!

We had great weather while we stayed and spent a lot of the time outside. I think if we spent more time inside a couch would’ve been better than the table and chairs. Honestly it didn’t make a difference to our stay we loved it.

Great hideaway

The solitude, great for dark skies. Hut warms up quickly especially when curtains closed. There is a wood burner to light for sitting out admiring the views and the stars. Lobby was a lovely host and only a call away, though just a few minutes walk. The hut is small but has everything you need for a couple of days. Due to the size, there is no storage. Highly recommend and would stay here again

Needing to recharge city life I headed to this place …2 nights stay I was made very welcome by Libby .

Everything …. it was a perfect place for me . The views were spectacular and the peacefulness was all I could have wished for . Reluctantly I had to leave .

We just stopped by for one night to break up a journey, but wish we could have stayed longer. An amazing view and a perfect spot for cooking outdoors. The hut was nicely designed for its small space.

Brilliant little get away

The most beautiful, secluded spot! We had a bit of trouble finding the right road to go down, but once we found the place we were absolutely stunned and in love. The weather was great as well, so we made full use of the patio etc. The hut was a comfortable temperature even in the heatwave and just absolutely perfect.

Exceptional

Absolutely stunning location. The hut had everything I needed, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was lovely and hot. Although there was no internet access, I still had very good mobile reception and so was able to hotspot my laptop allowing me to work from the hut. I had some lovely black cows in the field next to me one evening and reading my book by the chiminea at night in the rain, it was pure bliss. I had a very warm welcome from Libby. Nothing else I could ask for on a solo trip.

The loveliest stay with wonderful views

The location and views are completely unbeatable. We were blown away. We had plans to go out for dinner etc. and we scrapped them all the stay at the hut every night. It's so private, so cosy, so romantic. Libby and Arthur were fantastic hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. We just had the loveliest time! We will definitely be back.
