By The Way Campsite Lomond

Quiet location and spacious cabin.

Not the fault of the property but go with midge protection.

The location was perfect for our travels up the Highlands, we only stayed 1 night which was all we needed to make it to our destination and explore Tyndrum then glencoe the next day. Very minimal but again, this is all I wanted. We stayed with our two children and when we checked in, although we had booked two sets of bunks the lady gave us the one with a double bed at the bottom which was super helpful as my son always climbs in bed with me in the night! Super helpful staff, clean enough amenities, would definitely stay again!!

Groups of men in the lodges next to us (if i hsd to dislike anything) which as a family can be intimidating but this is not the campsites fault and is to be expected on the WHW plus they were super respectful and quiet.

La gentillesse de la dame à l'accueil avec nos enfants, elle a été arrangeante et nous a tout de suite proposé un logement avec un lit plus grand qui était disponible. L'environnement magnifique, les rideaux écossais, le chauffage, le frigo et micro-ondes, la taille du logement.

La table est vraiment petite pour quatre personnes, le matelas double peu confortable. Les toilettes n'étaient pas propres, la poubelle sous les éviers débordait et la porte des wc pour hommes était cassée. Pas d'accès direct à la rivière dans le camping. Les midges en très grand nombre mais ce n'est pas de la faute du camping. Nous n'avons pas su si nous pouvions éteindre la lumière extérieure du logement qui éclaire trop la nuit. Un paillasson ou un petit tapis à l'entrée permettrait d'essuyer ses chaussures sales en entrant dans le logement.

Perfectly adequate for what I needed. Nothing fancy, but clean, quiet and friendly staff. Really helpful being dog friendly.
