Lovely bungalow in a great location.

We loved the bungalow, loads space, lovely back garden for the dogs. Great location. We've stayed on the same estate for years so we know the area very well.

The bungalow is clean-ish, it could do with a deep clean. I found some mildew cleaner in the laundry room which I used to clean the on-suite shower. The doors all have panels that need cleaning as do the skirting boards. There are marks on most of the corridor walls which will wash off. The gardener arrived at 8am on Friday, surely this should be done on the change over day or later in the day.

Lovely house, space & location.

Location brilliant, facilities brilliant, well equipped kitchen etc. Lovely space. It would have been nice to have bedside tables in the 2nd double bedroom. Also, attention to detail on the cleaning would have been nicer. Maybe a new Hoover is needed for the living room rug! The gardener turned up on our last day, so the grass was quite long during our stay. Although I appreciate weather doesn’t always allow for grass cutting. None of the above ruined our stay, I would have just expected a little more for the price.

Tremar was in the perfect location for us. Carbis Bay is stunning and the walks from the house breathtaking. Dog's aren't allowed on the majority of beaches during the season, but luckily the season doesn't start until April. There are so many local places to eat, fresh bakers, butchers, fishmongers, and aside from all the many attractions there is on offer, there is a links golf course within a mile, and shore sea fishing is particularly good in the area, although beware all the surfers and seals - in fact you may want to hang up your rod and simply picnic on the beach taking in the show's put on by the surfers. Tremar provided us with a very comfortable stay, excellent quality sleep, and well equipped. Thank you.

Beautiful stay at a lovely, spacious, clean bungalow in a great location in Carbis Bay.

The property was very spacious, clean, comfortable beds and such a great location. Check in was very easy, room on the driveway for at least 2 cars. Beautiful large back garden. There was lots of information at the property on where things were, such as places to eat, places to visit, bus stops, nearby shops etc. Would 100% recommend this property and will hopefully be booking it again soon!

Wonderful stay, a home from home.

The house was lovely and had almost everything we needed.

There was no hair dryer, rubber shower matt, working hoover or enough clothes hangers. Very minor details otherwise the accommodation was fab.

Loved it so much the lack of cleanliness became a minor issue.

The size & space, the facilities (dishwasher, washer etc), the garden, the quiet, private location, the parking.

several areas of cleanliness were a problem - the recycling unit in the island hadn’t been emptied - milk cartons, meat trays, and pizza boxes were smelly, there was a dirty roasting tin in the oven, there was a dirty dog toy, depositing sand on top of the book shelves, there was a filter in the coffee machine with mouldy coffee in it. We had an infestation of flying ants, which could not have been foreseen, but just added to the general lack of care evident elsewhere, in a property with such a high spec.

Had a lovely time relaxing with family it was just a shame it wasn’t cleaned fully.

The property was in a lovely location, and was very spacious and quiet.

The cleanliness of the place was very disappointing. It just didn’t seem like they had hoovered from the previous tenants who must have had an army of moulting dogs, as the settee’s and flooring were coated with fur. It was even under the dining table and had stuck to the bottom of the chair legs. We tried to hoover it up, but it was caked in dog hair, so someone must have had a little go. I have tried to complain to Sykes but they don’t seem to even have an email address where I could send these too.

Good location 5 minute walk down the hill to the train station. £3.90 return to St.Ives. Further down the hill is Carbis Bay beach.

Exceptional

Me and my family absolutely loved stayed here. My dad grew up in St.Ives so it was really nice seeing where he grew up. The cottage we stayed in was amazing, so spacious and clean. My little one loved running round everywhere! Location was perfect matter of minutes to the shop, a park up the road and a Tesco just at the top which was very handy. Definitely somewhere I would be booking again.

Chilled escape, beach days and lots to see nearby if you fancy a day out.

The property was really well located in between the beach of Carbis bay and the small selection of shops and bistros. Every possible utensil / pot / pan / crockery had been thought of. The book case was lovely, and a well stocked games cupboard. I went with a pile of books to read to my six year old boy at bedtime but needn't have bothered as there was some lovely books he could read himself even. There was plenty of fluffy clean towels and the beds were very comfortable and clean. The house was big enough for us, we tended to stay in doors after a day on the beach and have a peaceful wine in the garden which looks out on to a big open field and glimpse of the sea. There is a tesco superstore about 5 mins drive away - we were organised due to covid and booked a big shop of all we need to arrive when we arrived! This was my first time in Cornwall as a grown up and I am converted for August hols. The sun was shining, when it rained we went in to st ives just three mins away on the train. St Ives was v v busy and it was impossible to get in to any bar or restaurant. We were quite happy to staying in Carbis bay locally after that. The approach to the beach along the coastal path is stunning. We played in the sea all day which was not all that cold and very clean beaches. Would not hesitate to booking this property again, In fact, it would be my first choice if available. If you fancy a day out, porth kidney sands is pretty, Penzance is a nice walk about on a a rainy day and Lands end is easy to do from Carbis bay. Becks fish and chips served up quite possibly the best haddock I have ever had!

Cannot think of a single thing that could be better. Heard complaints the water was too hot - it was hot but you just adjust the temperature on the tap! if anything it was a plus as my little boys bath was ready in no time :-)
